It is not silly to cry at video games - please don't apologize for showing emotion. This game is a masterpiece and deserves all the love that fans have been showing it through their emotional reaction to Zelda's sacrifice.
In the first game, Zelda was SO enthralled by Silent Princess flowers. They were her favorite, but she could never cultivate them. They could only be found, and not grown despite her extensive research. Yet.. oddly enough, they blossomed around a Dragon Tear. Her tear. As a Dragon, Zelda sacrificed everything, her life, her friends, her mind, her body. Even though she knew she might not ever become like her old self again, she did it. For Link, and for Hyrule. As a Dragon, she was trapped inside her own body. Mindless, and voiceless.. A Silent Princess.
First time here. Please don’t ever apologize for having feels and showing them. It’s what we all share in together and connects us. Am subbing for the pure fact that you were moved by the story and let us be a part of it with you.
Man I wish I could’ve seen this live, I was in denial until the final memory. Seeing Zelda so scared and going through that I couldn’t hold the tears back. Awesome reaction!
Dont worry about crying. This game was written to illicit emotions, and did a fucking good job. I cried, my friends cried, hell anyone who doesnt is weird.
i feel emotions playing the games and i came to reaction videos because i want to see someone else's reactions to the things i like. seeing someone reacting with similar emotional intensity makes me feel a sense of camaraderie with that person. i am always disappointed at youtubers who doesn't show anything to things that i reacted to myself, i don't feel any connection with such content creator, thus i don't care about their content. i don't know what i'm trying to say. i guess i am trying to compliment you haha
I don't like when people say it's "just a game." We know that. We know it's not real life, but that is what's so beautiful about some stories. They make you feel so deeply for characters and stories that aren't even real. So it must be something special when that happens.
Games with Story are just like Books and Movies, they are pieces of art born in someone's imagination The Books make you try to imagibe someone else's imagination The Movies let you see their imagination And the Games let you interact with the Imagination of Multiple People even. And That's in my opinion what makes Videogames so good
I'm new here like several other commenters and I'm going to say the same thing: please don't ever apologize for showing emotion. In cases like this it just means you have a soul! I've yet to see a single reaction to those last two memories that DIDN'T make the player cry, several grown men included. Nintendo created a masterpiece of a story with how universally it has affected everyone, myself included. If this DIDN'T make you emotional I'd honestly be a little concerned for you! ❤
Great reaction - no apologies needed. You sum up perfectly why this game has such an impact on Zelda fans, and captures how I felt when getting the last memory. The best games are works of art, telling us a story about ourselves and designed to evoke powerful emotion, and this game is top tier in that context.
Safe to say that Zelda games are very good at making me cry, that last dragon tear really got me. Also, 3:42 yes they are adorable and I freaking love them. Loved your reaction to these so much!
The secret stones change when a new person picks one up, to represent whichever element it is ampifying for them. The fact that it was light for Rauru has no bearing on what it does for Zelda.
I cried too at the final Dragon Tear memory, even though I managed to guess Zelda's fate from the Master Sword memory, I was still affect just by how powerful that moment was, between the transformation itself and Zelda's resolve... Honestly, I think she's the most badass Zelda I know of, considering what she has done between TOTK & BOTW. On a different note, I don't think that the other dragons are the other Sages, since you meet their spirits as you go through the main questline. Not to mention, there are only 3 other dragons - lightning, fire and ice, yet there are 5 sages aside from Zelda - and none of them have ice as their domain.
I bawled like a baby when I saw the final 2 memories. I knew what she was going to do as soon as Mineru was talking about swallowing the stone and becoming a dragon. Knowing there is now a 4th dragon in the sky. I knew it.
Man anyone who truly didn't feel ANYTHING over something so terribly sad and noble had to be a complete heartless ogre. Thank you for also being healthy and wholeheartedly feeling empathy.
I LOVE your reaction. I just finished that Quest and OMG I cried SO bad!!! They did an amazing job on this story! Anyone that doesnt show reaction to this..theres something wrong with you!!
I love watching people react to this revelation. I'm not even done the game yet but seeing other people get their minds blown makes me love this even more :D Poor Zelda though :C
the other dragons cant be the champions, it would mean them swallowing their stones and the new sages not being able to obtain them my guess din nayru and farore ate secret stones after splitting the triforce 10x into the stones themselves
I just found your channel and I'm enjoying your reactions a lot! the way you're crying through most cutscenes make me feel the same way I felt when I experienced them for the first time :')
I subscribed BECAUSE you reacted like I did! I have cried so much during this game...the fact I can feel so emotional about it is what makes it so beautiful! ⚔😿
Not to be rude but man I hate when streamers read the chat while watching important cutscenes, they miss out on so many little details. Either way, good video!
From what I understood the secret stone is sort of a blank slate, once in the possession of someone, it will amplify their own powers Edit: It's not silly at all to cry for video games, especially ones with a story this good. It's not different then crying during a movie. Most of us enjoy it, cause we can cry again.. but with you now 🥲

The emotions are why i love watching reaction videos so much. I can share my experience while watching someone else feel what I was feeling.
That means a lot! Thank you so much

First Fi almost killed you, then the dragon killed you. This game giving everyone tears!

Hahaha the ramble compliment is appreciated. Glad I can be myself on here!

I have yet to see anybody do a first playthrough of TotK and not cry at some point. This story absolutely wreaks havoc on emotions.

Thank you so much! I'm really glad that people are still finding enjoyment in these reactions. Love TOTK so much!
4 weeks later, and I'm still in awe of this revelation in game. I absolutely love it.
the fact that you did manage to click with some of the plot just by looking at the design of the glyphs made me awe !
Haha thanks! Sometimes I surprise myself

I think it's arguably the best story from any Zelda game
Thank you so much for sharing with us your emotions
The glyph you didn't recognize is a molduga
the other dragons cant be the champions, it would mean them swallowing their stones and the new sages not being able to obtain them

8:54 i completely lost it. LIKE NO WAY. had the same reaction you did kyle. - reyna
Favorite antagonist of all time + Matt Mercer. I'm always in.
I think the other dragons are former Zonai, because compared to the Light Dragon, they have differently shaped faces/ears
I’d like to think the same! Maybe the DLC will explore this idea a bit more
alot of people cried at this part... don't let it get you down
You definitely have to play the Xenoblade Chronicles series. Especially Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was so emotional. I cried so many times
It’s definitely a series I want to check out!
Oh man, blipped!!!
Collect them spikes on her back.
