- Welcome to Part 18 of my Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom playthrough! I spent about 50 hours of the game without unlocking my camera (whoops, was kinda easy to miss imo), so I couldn't do anything with the geoglyphs! Figured it was far past time to go unlock all those dragon's tear memories and may as well do so in chronological order. Hope you enjoy :)

its more tragic for zelda since she was a dragon waaaaaay longer than 1000 years. the great calamity happened 10,000 years ago. the events we see happen in the past take place waaaaaaay before that. shes been a dragon for 10s of thousands of years
I couldn't remember the exact timeline, that's definitely way worse 😭
Tears of the kingdom takes place 3 or so years after botw. The calamity happened 100 years prior to Botw.(link being asleep for 100 years Rijus mom being Urbosa, etc) I can see why people say 10,000 years and some change because 10,000 years prior to totk was when this Ganondorf was sealed by Rauru.
@@LeoneLaTwerk2 the great calamity was 10,000 years ago. It's the one shown in the tapestry with the unknown hero. Calamity Ganon then reemerged 100 years before breath of the wild
Since Zelda becomes a dragon during the age of hyrules founding, that could mean that sh s a dragon in every Zelda game before breath of the wild. It could also be the reason why every princess in hyrule is named Zelda
Ah, sorry to burst your bubble, but a lot of evidence seems to imply that this Hyrule was founded long after the rest of the games. It's just been so long since then that no one remembers the old Hyrule. Only stories and _legends_ remain. It's the only way the timeline makes sense.

Specifically when SS Link destroyed Demise in the past.

Link didn't try to grab the sword in his era.....he placed it INTO the light and transported it. Zelda placed that recall portal there for him to send the sword to herself in the past.
The All Tears reactions omits a critical scene - Ganondorf's imprisonment. This is told in a flashback scene by Mineru at the end of the Spirit Temple. It's essentially a full tear memory in its own right, although not from a dragon tear. I'd include it since these compilations are essentially reactions to the core story and its an awesome scene. Instead, we'll have to scrub through your gameplay footage. Also omitted is Memory 0 at the Deku Tree and the Master Sword scene

Also I know this is Nintendo retconning it but I love Rauru's third eye looking like the old arrow switches in past Zelda dungeons. I screeched at that connection.
I couldn't quickly think of a way to describe her getting pulled into the dark chasm through time haha. And omg I didn't even make that connection with his third eye! It totally does look like those!!

This commented alone reminded me of Fi's existence lol thank you! I always forget about her because I barely played SS (the control scheme really annoyed me personally). Need to give it another try!
I have to say sometimes I am jealous of people who can break or cry during games or movies/tv-shows. No matter how strong the feeling sad or happy which I do have ofc during those moments, I never cried during those moments as long as I can remember. And no I don’t say that to drag, my body just doesn’t do that lol❤
It's perfectly normal either way so youre valid! Some stuff makes me cry, some stuff makes me just have liked a stunned, sad silence. Just depends lol
These Cutscenes might make TOTK beat Mario Galaxy And Paper Mario:The Origami King in being some of the saddest Nintendo Games

They're in the founding era of Hyrule, the war mentioned in BOTW is the First Calamity - where they fight against the first incarnation of the Calamity with the Hero's Aspect and the other Tan Zelda (not to be confused with Sonia). The Imprisoning war is where they seal the Demon King.
@@KalaLu-helpmeee How can anyone get her mixed with Sonia? Everyone knows they are not the same person. And we was talking about this game's how far it goes back. Not talking about the war... it seems you have misunderstood the point on my comment.

The creators of this game are massive trolls, given that Zelda is the dragon you see at the very start of the game, as you dive down towards the Temple of Time. How cruel of them, to taunt us with that...

Also in the logo the bottom half of the master sword is a dragon, they literally put it in our faces the whole time

Yeah this part of my playthrough was just going through finding all the ones for the dragon tears specifically
