Go UAW! ORGANIZE! We will have to do it after Sean Fain! Keep going! We need more solidarity with other unions.

Not enough! Y'all already making $25 an hour or more! And you want an extra 30-40% on top that! Y'all got that good coke floating throughout the plant.

Sad when one works at a place and can't afford the product they be making 🏹🎯💸💸💸🪟

And now Joe wants to help the UAW and the auto workers. You see he is certain what the world climate is going to look like in 2050 and he is going to help ”Mr. World Climate” to get back on the right track. (Certain refers to a belief that a particular event will happen without any doubt or ambiguity.)
Joe hasn’t quite figured out how to stop hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, thunderstorms, or even make rain from clouds, but Joe knows a lot about what is necessary to make our 2050 global climate the way it should be.
You see, we have too much carbon dioxide and the world needs to get rid of this nasty gas. It’s the one thing that is presently screwing up our weather and in the future it is going to get worse. I know weather is very complex and even powerful computers cannot tell you with 100% certainty what the weather will be like in 10 days.
But Joe ( with no weather scientific background) knows future global climate dynamics for years ( 2023 - 2050). Upon reading political climate activist studies he has decided that America needs to be green. Joe has set a goal that by 2030, car manufacturers output of electric cars should be 50% of total production. Joe only regurgitates what he hears and reads. Have UAW management read both the pro and con on climate change to be knowledgeable on how it will affect their members.
Let’s look at Ford, one of the big three auto companies. Ford produced 4.4 million gas combustion engines in 2022 and 61,465 electric vehicles. That means 2.2 million electric cars need to be produced by 2030 or 7 years from now.
OK, for measurement purposes. The Gigafactory Texas Tesla only manufactures electric vehicles. The Gigafactory Texas plant currently produces the Tesla Model Y electric vehicle. Annual production is 250,000 per year, using a 24 hour, 7 days per week schedule. Approximately 20,000 people and 1,000 robots make this plant hum. Construction of Gigafactory Texas Tesla's plant began in July 2020 and was completed in less than two years. The factory officially opened on April 7, 2022, and began producing electric vehicles. It is over 10 million square feet in size, is powered by 100% renewable energy, and uses a variety of water conservation and recycling measures. Based on estimates from analysts and industry experts, it is believed that the plant cost between $1.1 billion and $2 billion to build. Let's split the difference and use $1.5 billion per plant.
Now for the bottom line. If Ford needs to build 2.2 million electric vehicles by 2030, then it will need to build the equivalent of eight high tech Gigafactory size factories, employ approximately 160,000 people, and use 8,000 robots. They also must continue to build 2.2 million gas combustion vehicles to satisfy their other customers. They also will need billions in capital dollars to start this electric vehicle program. Think they can make the 2030 deadline? The other automakers, GM and Stellantis also face the same challenges.
Also consider this: more parts are needed to manufacture a gas combustion car than an electric car.
Here is a comparison of the number of parts in a gas combustion car and an electric car:
Gas combustion cars have a number of parts that are not required in electric cars, such as:
    Starter motor
    Alternator
    Spark plugs
    Distributor
    Valve train
    Oil pump
    Fuel injectors
    Exhaust system
    Emission control system
    Fuel Pump
    Fuel Tank
Combustion engine …EV use electrical motors.
As a result of these differences, gas combustion cars typically have around 2,000-2,500 parts, while electric cars have around 1,000-1,500 parts. Less parts means less union people are needed to manufacture a car.
Joe Biden wants the UAW to help him with his climate change agenda. He is against combustion engine vehicles due to his belief in a drastic world climate change expected by 2050: did Joe mention that when he spent 15 minutes on the UAW picket line?
Joe is not interested in UAW jobs, he is interested in changing the entire transportation system of America. Instead of a gradual transition to electrical vehicles he prefers to gut 50% of Ford’s present combustion vehicle infrastructure production and replace it with manufacturing electrical cars by 2030. He is also gutting as fast as possible America’s infrastructure in oil and gas. This will result in much higher prices of gasoline for combustion engines.
Because there are less parts needed to build an electrical vehicle, it is suspected that there will be less UAW union workers to build vehicles. Jobs will be lost. Added to this consider the following: To build an electric vehicle it is estimated that Tesla robots perform around 80% of the work in the body shop and paint shop, and around 30% of the work in the general assembly area. Major efforts are being made to increase these percentages.
So Joe Biden can endorse a 40% pay increase ( which makes him look like a hero to the working class), but a transition of many jobs will be needed and large capital dollars expenditures will be required to make electric vehicles a reality at Ford. So Ford can either run down this path or prudently walk down this path.
Either way, Joe’ chances of being around by 2030 grow slimmer as each year passes. When he has departed, you will be stuck with the consequences and the costs based on decisions made in the next few years. For me, I have great reluctance to believe and follow someone who is so sure of what the world climate is going to look like in 2050.
So if you want to go with Joe Biden, think green and think electric vehicles. Remember what Joe said: “I will be a President for all Americans, and that means being honest and transparent with you. I will always tell you the truth, even when it's hard.” I hear what he says, but somehow I don’t think we are getting all the information and the big picture of his agenda.
