2024 Lexus GX550 Overtrail - Finally a proper off-road GX

The good news is that Lexus has finally listened to offroad enthusiasts and built a GX that is ready for the trails right out of the showroom, espcially in this Overtrail trim. The bad news is that Lexus is already sold out for year one and dealers are marking them up by as much as $20K. Greedy bastards!

First gen. Tacoma, 3rd gen 4Runner, and T100 pickup all had a 3.4 L V6. It's actually quite a legendary Toyota engine. General motors also had a 3.4 V6 in the '90s.

The Lexus LS500 has the same engine with bigger turbos since 2018.

I stand corrected. It's been a while since we drove the LS500. I was under the impression it has a 3.5L V6 Twin-Turbo. Good catch!

How soft is the ride? Softer than the current 4Runner? I remember test driving one and it pretty much absorbed everything. Felt like you were floating.
