He was amazing in Kingdom of Heaven.
I just found out he played that role. I had come here to realize who he was. He did amazing as King Baldwin.
Norton's ability to communicate thought and emotion with just his eyes, voice, and subtle shifts in body language makes his turn as Baldwin one of the truly great performances of our time. Being able to show the innermost qualities of a character without the use of facial expressions is a genuine skill, and one that not many actors have the talent to accomplish effectively.
他扮演的鲍德温四世就是天生王者
He was also dr Bruce banner in the Incredible Hulk 2008
@@DominicRobles-qo3vh
Yeah , didn’t see it.
I really appreciate the interviewer not interrupting and just letting Edward talk.
Different generation
King Baldwin the 4th
Yesss
✋😔
On your knees.
Lower.
Yes❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes✋️😌
Became a fan after I saw his performance in Primal Fear. Incredible actor
yes! i was looking for this comment.
First time of my life that I founded a movie that is good with Richard Gear, the dude was just my mom's crush, but thanks to Edward Norton I enjoyed this movie a lot.
I'm pretty sad that the guy is blacklisted on hollywood, he was a great actor, maybe the greatest of our time. (sorry if my english is bad)
@@lolabrini3758 Me too!
I think this was His best role!
He was brilliant in American History X.👍👏
He’s great in everything
Ohhhh yes!!
His performance as Baldwin iv was phenomenal
It's an unending phenomena
He bought in such a big energy to that movie and those scenes
One of my favorite actors. Not in it for the fame. Not in it to build some platform. But to truly be the best Actor he could be, in order to bring true life to the roles he acted….
I wish more of Hollywood was like him….
Is everyone here for King Baldwin?
Me
Me
Yeah. I literally just found out he played him and am looking for him talking about it. I can’t recognize him at all
Yes. I am!!
Yes!
King Baldwin ❤
His dialogue 👉 i am Jerusalem 😬🔥 as king baldwin iv 🗿🍷
TRUE I AM ALSO YOUR FAN , I HAVE WATCHED YOUR EDITS ❤
@@Yt_user90 Thank u so much... Thanks a lot 🥹🥹🫶🫶
Damn. I could just spend a whole day listening to this dude.
FIGHT CLUB WAS A MASTERPIECE
It changed the way I look at my self
@@Von-u4h How would you say it changed the way you look at yourself? Thanks.
it was good... masterpiece idk about that
It was ok 😂y’all glazing it
@fozianoreen3495 Films are subjective, people praise Fight Club due to its layers and depth, and I'm personally a big fan of it, ofc I'm not going around saying its the best film thats ever graced the cinemas, but it is generally a pretty good film all around, but again, we all have our own opinions on things, so you might perceive it as "okay" while some may say "amazing"
All in all, its decided to who the viewer is and their personal opinion on it
kingdom of heaven
The 25th Hour, The Painted Veil, American History, The Illusionist, the list goes on. He Rocks
"The Score" (2001), alongside Robert De Niro and Marlon Brando. Angela Bassett had a short role in it to.
@@neilsingh5923 Awesome in that too
@GoodMrDawes.....'25th Hour' - Good call broski, one of my ATF's! 💚🤍❤
- 25th HOUR
- AMERICAN HISTORY X
- ROUNDERS
- PRIMAL FEAR
- DOWN IN THE VALLEY
Oh he rocks
Oh the illusionist….So awesome
King Baldwin 🎉
His role as king baldwin was literally one of the most beautiful roles ever played in cinema! It was such a well played roll that even though it was barely historically accurate and made victims into agressors and vice versa, he masterfully made his character come alive! Well done!
His performance as King Baldwin IV was amazing
Let me tell you I was SHOCKED to realize Edward Norton voiced a British sounding ancient king, cause his normal voice sounds like a teenage tik toker
Ur lame
American History X, Incredible Hulk, and Primal Fear are my top favorite
Hulk was meh...
@@ivxwiv6692 Hulk is 🔥🔥🔥
@@ivxwiv6692 His performance was phenomenal in Incredible Hulk, as a comic book kid he brought the character to life for me, he was the best Bruce Banner to date. Granted it wasn't his most amazing role but it was still very good.
@BruvvaJosh very true. He always makes the role his own. Ruffalo is a bit one dimensional.
His first film i believe it was primal fear how he didn't win an award for that film is mind bogging and hes an awesome actor i first new who he was after rounders then found out more then his first movie
Primal fear was my first introduction to him. That performance was amazing. The ending of that movie though
King Baldwin the 4th ❤ He made his role powerful and enigmatic in Kingdom of Heaven. A lot of fan fiction were written based on his character.
He is a true actor in his craft. Brings a passion to whatever he does. It’s too bad he hasn’t done more films like a The Painted Veil where he expresses his passion as a leading man with the romantic facet to the movie. He moved me in that one ❤
We should also applaud the paitence, professionalism and listening skills of the interviewer. Very respectful, never interrupted. Interviewer these days don't not have the ability to just sit there and listen, they cannot stay still for 30 seconds, always figiting, always interrupting. 🤦♂️
My favourite actor, most of his films gave me the sensation he describes and he always feels like an actual authentic person in his roles. I am not a fan of fight club, it' not for me, but he makes the movie work. Without him the movies he starred in just wouldn't be as great as they are. Someone who I feel similarly about is Philipp Seymour Hoffman.
The best actor to ever play The Hulk!!!
Definitely!💯 If there's one actor who's the best at playing characters with dual personalities, that's Ed Norton.👌
I had a GIANT crush on him when I was like 14 lol 😂 I’m 34 now !!! He is an AMAZING actor and super charming
But in the movie as King Balduin his voice is a lot deeper, was his voice changed in Kingdom of Heaven?
I guess the mask made his voice sound deeper
Acting
Well I guess because during that movie his age was 34 and now he is 53 so maybe that's the reason.
Probably just altering his voice including the mask as well. King bald wins face was messed up a bit so
The mask
One of the greatest actors ever. My personal favorite is 25th Hour.
That was a great character study, great cast, and of course, great director (Spike Lee).
wait he doesn't realize how strong of a character he did of King Baldwin?
He didn’t even want to be credited because his face wasn’t seen and I’m like bro, that’s WHY it’s amazing. How doesn’t he realize how perfectly he played the character and conveyed his emotions and personality through that mask??
25th hour is in my top 20 and I LOVE movies.
Same
he is one of the best and underrated.
Love him in painted veil.
He’s very versatile… brilliant actor ❤
My fav actor
I just found out he was played the Leopard King in the movie Kingdom Of Heaven 🤯
Leper. Not leopard
My crush since... Always, my favorite actor too 🥰❤
He was a much better Banner than Ruffalo.
He was indeed, he has a vulnerability to him that perfectly juxtaposed hulks rage
The Incredible Hulk (2008) is so underrated in the MCU. One of the best Phase 1 movies.
We have all heard that some actors have a complicated working process that may create difficulties for others, and names like Edward Norton do come up in such discussions. But he, and a few other special actors, like Daniel Day-Lewis, Marlon Brando, and a few others, sure have created some amazing work.
The whole world is still waiting for his character breakdown on King Baldwin of the film Kingdom of Heaven!!! That character alone has imspired millions of boys and men to find their inner king.
He is right. These films remain testimony of how this generation was.
I m muslim love hristiyan i love you baldwin king jeruselam kudus i m kudus ......Baldwin king selahhadin eyubi king❤❤❤❤
"PRIMAL FEAR"-- YOU WERE AMAZING. I still need to see Fight club! You the man!!
Every film he stars in I totally believe every second of it ! Great actor
Edward Norton is amazing
I love you, Edward❤ wish i could meet you one day🙂
It took me just NOW learning that he played king baldwin..
Brilliant actor best in the last 30 years
Ed Norton is the fucking man... Straight up!
Loved seeing him sing and dance in Everyone Says I Love You!
American history x , figth club & Primal fear 🔛🔝
He's always good
this was like 10 years ago...
What a thoughtful slow answer. Very cool
If I ever met him I’d tell him way to much about my life but he’s awesome man I miss seeing him on tv I remember ppl use to say my dad looked like him I didn’t think so as a kid but I see it now and now ppl go hell nah lmfao
hes the GOAT man
great actor
His conclusion as Derek Vinyard is the most heart wrenching !
Death to smoochy is so underrated I love it
You are truly The Hulk 💚💪
His eyes can act .
Norton's best 2 roles were Worm in Rounders and in Down in the Valley
his eyes are extra blue in this. i wonder why huh
Its his dark blue shirt. They are super dreamy, arent they?
@@abbygirl3000 thanks. Let me know when you're in NY, I'll show you around.
@@TylerD288um sure strange man on the internet I know nothing about. Lol
@TylerD288 thanks, strange man on the internet I know nothing about and could ver well be a serial killer
@@abbygirl3000 why do all women seem to think all men are serial killers? 😅I was just making a joke because my PfP is a pic of Edward Norton and my name is Tyler D. as in Tyler Durden from Fight Club. Just joking around here. Chill.
I loved his HULK 100% i rank it just a bit below Iron-Man 1, don't remember watching his other movies tho, i probably watched something in pieces when it was on tv cause i knew his face before Hulk
my favourite is rhinoceros Smoochy ❤❤❤🥰😍😍😍
I really love him as the incredible hulk
King Baldwin 4th - Do We Have Terms?
King Salahuddin - We Have Terms
King Baldwin 4th - Assalamualaikum
King Salahuddin - Wa'alaikumsalam
Love these guys. Norton for the obvious reasons. Rather... because he is the best interviewer ever. Of the 4:13... He uses maybe 10 seconds. Lets Norton talk. He isn't trying to let you know how intelligent he is. He shuts up! Makes him a genius. Norton... the greatest of his time one of the all time greats too. Cheers fella's!
Ed Norton was such a great Bruce Banner! I liked him way more than Ruffalo.
This man is absolute Perfection as an ACTOR. Too Good for the industry!!
Oh he also did fight club…that was hard too
Primal fear🔥
"When i was 16 i won a great victory"
The Birdman one is his real life parody.
In addition to Fight Club
Amazing
we need him back as the Hulk
Primal Fear was the best for me.👍👍

My initial screening with EN was with Richard Gere. Pardon me, the title isn’t clear
