That's it, that's the landmark? An empty shard they don't even let you vault to the top. The people in this galaxy sure don't care where they came from all too much.
It doesn’t really count up to the amount of space people needed today, like there seems to be a huge amount of people lost somewhere or did they only transfer a tiny amount of people?
It's the game engine limitation. The New Atlantis in reality would look like Coruscant or some such, not like a modern Apple or Google campus. Same thing applies to starships - there should be swarms of them lying around from the Exodus, unless they have been stripped for parts and materials to build new colonies.
Earth does lose hundreds of tons of atmosphere daily, way we destroyed planet over last 50~100 years. Plausible something like that could happen, research over last couple year from discovery rover, shows Mars once most likely had an atmosphere.

OMG the over-correcting when flying is making me nauseous. Just keep your reticle on the target. Stop trying to fly, the ship will follow the reticle. 🤣
So, far planets looks a little bit generic; everywhere is a sand & rock desert... I expected some more ruins on Earth. But apperently "life finds a way" since you found some glowing fungus in a cave. Plus new crew member could be fun.
You know...... I played this game all the way through and didn't know you could hold right mouse button down and concentrate the beam to mine twice as fast, Thanks Bethesda!!
Earth without atmosphere in full daylight... The sky should be black and the sun makes the other stars invisible. -Or was there a thin CO2 atmosphere on Earth?- The developers messed up there.
When you got mercury, did you get mercury poisoning. :) When you came out, you looked right at it. 🤣 Earth still has its normal gravity, it just lost its atmosphere. Spoiler, you can not remove mods. :(
Planets don't just 'lose' an atmosphere. The whole gravity thing takes care of that. I know why they did this, they didn't want to have to recreate the entire Earth. But this just seems like a lazy narrative. PLUS... all the stuff we left behind should still be there. Entire cities, all the geological elements. *Everything*.
Further away from ground level you go less gravity becomes, hence why in low orbit you will float, gravity does effect atmosphere but to a lower extent than people think.
@@funsamgaming That's largely incorrect. Yes, the gravity decreases with distance but Low Earth Orbit is a very small increase in radius from Earth's center compared to the surface, thus you experience almost the same gravity pull. "Floating" experienced in orbit is just all objects free falling at the same rate relative to the surface. They're just moving sideways fast enough to always miss the ground (aka orbital velocity). Conincidentally, if gravity decreased with distance at a significant rate there would be no Low Earth Orbit, our atmosphere would be much much thinner and we'd have no moon... And we wouldn't orbit the Sun either.
Up here in my tree, shaped to live in woven with life; grafting the fruit, and vines ; dug deep into the bark a vegetable garden of water to grow a tree house...high from disaster and predator. There is a tiny mod called „Inverted Y Flight Reticle“ by Xilandro. It only reverts the reticle movement so it matches your mouse or stick movement if you are using it reverted. Yeah, it's not the healing part I think. You're taking too much damage, I mean even too much for hardest difficulty. Probably somehing to do with choosing the lowest DR items to wear.
Oh cool, I had no idea you could recruit Vanguard Moara for your crew. I missed my chance. I'll have to try that on my next playthrough.
I think you can still recruit him at the bar on Mars.
Just in case you don't know Gopher, the Robot should be in a pod thingy, a quick save n reload and it loads in ( no floaty computer )
Yeah modding things is a 3 stage process in Starfield. Not only do you need the Skills for it, but you need to do RESERACH at a RESERACH BENCH just to unlock the mods for installation in the first place, THEN install said mod.
I think it's ridiculous that the scanner doesn't detect mines. Someone should mod trapenator functionality into the game. 😏
Queue Captain America, "I understood that reference..." 😅
I see G still thinks that space flight is a gimble and not just point and shoot.... its freelancer, not a mill sim G :P
Nope. He knows it is a click and point system. But knowing that doesn't help in the slightest. Unmapping the instincts I have here would take months of play, and I don't think I'd even want to do that. I like Starfield, but I am not ruining other games for myself just to make it bearable :)
Its like they expected people to take the Targeting system perk, or it was a default thing at some point. (actually its a boarding tutorial but still)
OMG the over-correcting when flying is making me nauseous. Just keep your reticle on the target. Stop trying to fly, the ship will follow the reticle. 🤣
Sarah drives me nuts, "pick up everything" then in the next breath "drop that junk", she's such a nag.
Did you learn nothing from Lydia, Piper, Preston et al. Bet being nagged by companions is Todd Howard's fetish.
So, far planets looks a little bit generic; everywhere is a sand & rock desert... I expected some more ruins on Earth. But apperently "life finds a way" since you found some glowing fungus in a cave. Plus new crew member could be fun.
Brother. So far he has visited 3 moons, Mars, and a long destroyed Earth. There is plenty of life.
Sorry Gopher, the weapon and armor mods have DRM on them so you can't remove them. Gotta love the "future". :)
You know...... I played this game all the way through and didn't know you could hold right mouse button down and concentrate the beam to mine twice as fast, Thanks Bethesda!!
My buddy was on ng+ 4 before he learnt you can use scanner mode in the cockpit to select places you want to land without opening the menu lol.
Earth without atmosphere in full daylight... The sky should be black and the sun makes the other stars invisible. -Or was there a thin CO2 atmosphere on Earth?- The developers messed up there.
Freedom.
Well Mars lost its atmosphere transparently. Although it took a lot lot longer :)
With hair of ropes. We pull to safety...those that create more.
Like the weeping willow we do stand; with our branches. And home. For we are one symbiote of two. Man creature and our trees.
Central. Were black beans...
Asin had red beens; Mayan, Inca brown beans. Northern Tribes white beans.....exc...
Yellow, black, red, brown. Beans. The oldest traid. Of the Global Tribes
😢 why is your only human companion Sarah? You are aware you can get more yes. 😅
You can only have one companion at once in this game. Maybe there will be a mod that allows more later on.
Current part of story Gopher on you are locked to Sarah until he returns with the artifact he just found.
There is a tiny mod called „Inverted Y Flight Reticle“ by Xilandro. It only reverts the reticle movement so it matches your mouse or stick movement if you are using it reverted. Helps a lot with resolving the inner fight between muscle memory and wrong visual sensory input!
--Btw, what‘s wrong with Gopher‘s Sarah? In my game she actually wore a space suit in a non breathable habitat and I can‘t remember having even given one to her?? I guess we must feel happy that she had at least not put on her night gown…🫢
