I know one person that brought a real Blancpain because of the collaboration. They knew nothing about the brand until reading about the Swatch collaboration. I think the collaboration has generated interest in the brand.
@@t0n9c2 Just hype? They made the first dive watch and beat Rolex, and Zodiac by close to a year. The general public never heard of most brands watch geeks are into. Most buying the Swatch cant buy a Blancpain if they wanted to. If you read about their history I think you would realize they are much more than a marketing gimmick
@@pranavprasanna3861that's something Rolex fanboys started saying & confusing with LIP. my neighbour's grandfather was a military diver and his grail watch for more than 40 years had been the Blancpain SO35N100
We will never do quartz… but plastic
Let’s do it!!!
Swatch is releasing the collab. Says swatch on it on the side. Not blancpain
@@theosiegstolz3991 I have to see one in my hands to know what it is really about…. I don’t think Swatch gave them a choice
Swatch Group: "It's not plastic. It's bioceramic!"
It obviously worked for advertising. I’ve never seen so much Blancpain content before the collab.
That seems like a bad move.
Best watch reviewer on RUclips right now. Keep it up. 💯
Hmmmm seems like the Swatch collab brought much interesting into the Blancpain brand. I don’t recall seeing so much Blancpain content before…

Blancpain got destroyed by Seiko's quartz so hard they never produce quartz 😂😂
Yea sure
Everyone got destroyed so hard by seiko’s quartz.
Not everyone stuck to their guns and held their own.
The Swiss were almost there with releasing quartz but did make some great quartz watches in the 1970’s and 1980’s as well as innovating
Best out there !
Blancpain making movements for others is not strictly true. F Piguet made movements for other companies and they bought them out a few years ago.
F Piguet has been part of the Swatch Group for over 30 years!
@@almac9203 they were making ebauches for Audemars Piguet, specifically their integrated chronograph movements until 2022
Blancpain is all hype because of collaboration with Swatch. How often u see people wear a Blancpain? I hadnt see anyone wear one in public.

Do they already know when the first FF was produced? 1953 or 1955 😂😂
1955 I think, I believe the submariner was 1953

Fifty Fathoms came before Submariner

What about the Waltham FF?

Seiko is older 😅😅
No, it isn’t

Seiko can’t align their watches properly

If you cant make money selling watches, you can always make money selling movements much like JLC
Blancpain x swatch. Quartz.
It’s Sistem 51 automatic though
@@MinuteMonquartz would have been better tho, better than the disposable sistem51
And not a Blancpain proper
? It's automatic. And it's a swatch
Too much money, brand to discard easy
