The creative possibilities with this effect are endless! There are so many cool locations that are enclosed before night time so it makes it hard to access these to shoot videos. Thank you for posting!
Not exactly what I would say night, but it is surely a kind of style I would love to work with. It has a fiction feel in it. loved the idea behind. thnx
Run Forrest ru.. I mean Jordy run, it's a trap. Nice video as usual, always a pleasure to see the gang having some fun and sharing knowledge as we;;, cheers from Dominican Republic guys.
why have I never heard of or seen this day for night technique lol. such a simple great concept that never crossed my mind xD. I feel like this technique would be very useful for those who have cameras that perform bad in low light but want to film night scenes
amazing, you are amazing. I was afraid because I didn't want to record in a forest at night and you are simply my savior. Otherwise I would be in the middle of the woods at night scared to death hahahaha
This doesn't look too bad but I tried to do it while having people in the shot and that is quite difficult. I can't make it look good. Is it even possible to make room with people look like it's evening/night time ?
Hi Dear I really learn from you . you awesome . I have question : I have shooting with canon 7d mark II in the low light situation all time my video is noisy. I setup like iso 100 F1.4 and shutter speed 1/50 fps. So why still my video is too noisy? I don't undrestand what is the problem, camera or my 50mm f 1.4 canon lens? Thanks
I know this is a little late, but try using the C Log profile. That'll help capture more dynamic range, which may help. Also, sometimes you just have to add light to a scene to make it work better. No camera will perform perfectly, but adding in light will always help.
Yet ANOTHER superb video tutorial!! I DO have ONE question though... WHAT IF the window (glass) arent "tinted" black and you could actually see the YELLOW-to-WHITE on the inside? Would you use the pen tool to create a mask for each window pane, add a color-overlay of a whiter yellow for brightness, add a glow to each and create a brighter effect? Would something like that work? **Do you have the project file available so I could try it? I'd even send it back if you wanted to do a part 2 to this video as a revised. version with "NON-Tinted" windows.
Thanks Jeremy! That would indeed be better, but more time consuming. Because the clips came from Videoblocks, I'm not sure we can share the project file.I thought about it after the tutorial, because normally we always share it with everyone.
OOoh, ok yeah that makes sense. And thanks for the idea props!! I've always enjoyed your tutorials!! It's wild how we cant get what some say, but we can understand COMPLETELY from others!! Keep rockin it man!!
