Yes! In the Morning, Songbird, Marley Purt Drive, South Dakota Morning, Bury my Down by the River, The Lord... Please take these songs up on Volume 2! Some of my favorite songs of all time. When I play and sing them, even myself, it is as if magic is happening. Thank you for your unearthly talent!

For whom the bells tolls sure was a massive hit here in Argentina, it is still in heavy rotation on FM radios today, The Bee Gees were always popular in Latin America, we never experienced that "Fever" -Disco backlash, Living Eyes, ESP, One, High Civilization, Size etc were always chart toppers in the South American market, even Robin's solo albums were huge hits!
US audiences surely missed out.

Hi Tim, this is a cracking interview and it tells me that you're very much bonded with the family. A track that I still cherish from Main Course is 'Edge of the Universe' such an under rated song. Could be easily produced in country style. However you did mention loads of tracks that can easily cross over to country music. Someone was commenting on one of the 'reactions' channel about the brothers saying that the Backlash wasn't about Steve Dahl and all the politics behind it but because the Bee Gees sued Robert and as I was in the music industry for many years, I had to reply to that comment that what this chap was saying was wrong and the reality was that they sued Robert because Robert was literally not paying them the right amount of royalties they were owed from SNF and Spirits. Anyway, thanks for this great interview. 👍🏻

What a great interview! I really enjoy the older Bee Gees and Mr. Natural and For Whom The Bell Tolls gives me chills.
I love to hear Barry’s enthusiasm (also Tim’s) for Greenfields Vols. 2 and 3. I enjoyed Vol. 1 so much. I was amazed by the diversity and versatility of the Bee Gees songs and was happy to hear a couple of songs I heard for the first time. At any rate, Barry is a musical icon whether he does more or not. I hope that he and his family are all doing well and enjoying their lives. He and his brothers have brought so much enjoyment to my life.

I always thought that Robin felt trapped being a part of the Bee Gees and secretly dreamed of going solo. His devotion and commitment to his brothers kept him a part of the threesome. Just my thought.

For Whom The Bell Tolls was released in the US but didn't make the top 100. Similarly, How Can You Mend A Broken Heart was a UK single but didn't chart, even though it was their first US Billboard #1. It is indeed odd how a great song can work in one market but not another.

Great interview. However, I think Tim Roxborough's and Barry's idea of a Vol.2 of "Greenfields" is comprised of a Barry Gibb songbook, not a Gibb Brothers songbook. Almost all of those songs Tim listed for a follow-up album are songs written by Barry alone.
You are right. I totally love Railroad from Maurice. And I think it's a very good country song! Even the video is lovely.
I think many of the songs mentioned are from Cucumber Castle which Barry and Maurice worked on together.

Re: Main Course - I think the title was part of the marketing plan. I recall in the UK the promotion for the album had a tag line of ‘Jive Talkin’ gave you the taste ... now for the Main Course’
