So glad you discovered Sinead! During the first year of Covid when all our traveling was curtailed, we found her on RUclips and fell in love with her presentations. When we visited London last year, we booked her for a private tour and had the most remarkable time. She's a wealth of knowledge, and almost everywhere we went she was recognized by fans.
A little late catching up on these but really enjoying them. I got the chance in April to spend 1 day in London on a long layover and basically walked enough steps to equal a half marathon that day lol. It’s neat to recognize a lot of the things I saw.
Oh I'm so happy to see Photos by Dee! I was thinking about that feature the other day because I hadn't seen any in a long time! Glad you brought them back for London!
Lovely tour of London you certainly saw some hidden gems having lived in London and visited many times it's hard to see it all in a short stay you did well. Greetings from Sydney
Hello my lovelies! 😜 We toured with Sinead in September, she's great. I'm loving this London series, when we go back some day will have to be sure to see Back to the Future!
What a awesome day you had!!! I love that you do all budget friendly tours & give us tips for things to do in all the places you go to! Can't wait for your Princess cruise series.... take care... you should be over 100K in subscribers!!!
The walking tour looked amazing, can’t believe its tips. It’s pretty traditional to put lots of salt and vinegar on fish and chips. More vinegar and less salt that’s how I like mine. You guys are doing a really good job of fitting lots of content in…..really enjoying this series. 👍
I go to London all the time but have never taken this type of walking tour...you can bet your life I will the next time I go. Thoroughly enjoying your trip (vicariously 😄)
I did not know about the free walking tours, that’s great! The London pass is great to have, so much included. We bought it for 4 then 3 days on 2 separate visits and still so much we didn’t get to.
Sorry the cab ride was bad. We experienced some brick streets in DC in Georgetown area and it was not easy to wheel our carryons. I kept thinking that might be what Europe is like.
My home town and so much to see, it is larger than most people think. All the museums are free except for special exhibitions. Glad you are both enjoyed it.
St bride's Church also features in the 4 book of the bridgerton series, about Colin and Penelope. Dr who also filmed in some of those locations that you went to as well.
Your videos are always so informative. Too bad you did not go into St. Paul’s Cathedral We te at Poppies Fish & Chips twice, my husband loved it.I’m so happy you saw 2 West End shows.
Good day to Dee and Jay. We have been following your channel since 2021. We enjoy them and appreciate you both as a couple. These London video as are super helpful for us so that we are prepared for our London trip. I do have a question. Could you tell us about the hotel room adapter that you use? Model, where you purchased from, etc. thanks a bunch. Hopefully we’ll get to meet you one day on a cruise. Stay safe!!!
That walking tour looked like it was a lot of fun! Yep, the London Bridge the most famous but most underwhelming bridge in London - now..The REAL London Bridge is in Lake Havasu, Nevada! And it REALLY was 'falling down', it was dismantled brick by brick and rebuilt exactly in Lake Havasu..The one now in London is just one of those boring modern things... Thanks for allowing us scallywags to tag along! Looking forward to the next, and sadly final(for this trip) installment of your adventures in London! Rock on! ;)
Thank you so much for sharing you are genial hosts with just the right amount of humour Great photography by the way Not such a fan of some of the modern buildings Keep up the good work 👍😊
Because of your video, we have booked the Z hotel strand on our upcoming trip and was curious if you walked to the shows in the evening from the hotel or did you Uber?
You missed a great opportunity to see all of England including the Cotswolds, Shakespeare birth place, the Roman Baths, all of Scotland, Ireland and Wales with a CIE 14 day tour...it is the best tour in the UK.
@@parodeejay I live in London, in suburbia on the outskirts, and have never heard of Poppies. I suspect it's a bit of a tourist trap based on the prices you paid and the portion sizes. Usually fish and chips is super cheap and massive portions at local places. I wouldnt expect to pay more than about £10-£12 for what you got.

What a lovely surprise seeing Sinead leading your tour! It's a mashup of my two favorite youtube channels.
Ahhh, Fruit Salads and Black Jacks, takes me right back to my childhood!
I watch Sinead on free tours by foot. So cool seeing 2 channels I watch combine into one.
I agree. Love Sinead’s RUclips channel.
How much did youbtip%?
3 westend shows in 3 days, yes please.

I really enjoy your vlogs. The photos by Dee are awesome; she has quite the artistic eye among her many other things talents.
Oh I'm so happy to see Photos by Dee! I was thinking about that feature the other day because I hadn't seen any in a long time! Glad you brought them back for London!
OMG. I love Sinead. I have watched most of her videos.

Glad you like Greggs
We love Free Tours by Foot. We did a Pub Crawl and Cockney Sing-a-Long last year. Another time we did a East End food tour and stopped at Poppies.
Our feet were burning EVERY night when we went to London. We were there 8 days.
Thank you both for showing us London. Enjoyed every minute.
Excellent ❤❤❤
You got Sinead!! Her videos and channel are so awesome!!!

Enjoying the London series! There is so much to do and it has been great seeing the places you've been to including some meals.
Touring London, by foot. I am so doing that the next time I go, the history was amazing. “Europe, where the History comes from.” Eddie Izzard.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!!

Love, love, love Sinead! She also did our tours while we were in London last year. She is great.
How much did you tip her? I love Siena’s!
Sinead
Sorry, I don’t remember what we gave her as a tip. Think it was around 40 US dollars for the 2 of us.
I am enjoying the London series sooo much!! London is so beautiful and now I want to visit even more. Thank y’all for sharing with us!
Jay if you like the sausage rolls, take it to the next level by putting it in a buttered bread roll with HP sauce ❤
I go to London all the time but have never taken this type of walking tour...you can bet your life I will the next time I go. Thoroughly enjoying your trip (vicariously 😄)

Shame you didn’t try curry sauce with your chips. Surprisingly lovely.
Lol. I sang the same song when we visited St Paul’s 😊

Sorry you missed the tower guys.
We will be going to London for a Princess cruise. How did you find the free walking tour?
They’re listed on the Free Tours By Foot website after you select London and scroll down to the calendar. :D
Thank you!
Great video!! I have visited London a few times but not lately. There’s so much to see and isn’t Sky Garden amazing?
Because of your video, we have booked the Z hotel strand on our upcoming trip and was curious if you walked to the shows in the evening from the hotel or did you Uber?
Awesome! We walked to all our shows.

Our 12-day “tour” of the coast is coming up after this land series, including Scotland, Ireland, etc… :P
Just curious on how much you should tip for the guided tour? I know it’s up to everyone one individually but I’d like to know a range at least.
Their website gives a suggestion based on each tour, which was handy!! :D
I remeber those candy from a lil girl and i'm 71 lol
How many miles was the walking tour?
The tours we did were about 2 to 2 1/2 miles each day, I’d say!! :D
What was the current exchange when you was there when I was there it was two US dollars for one English pound I loved it over there
I think we were about 1.25 dollars per pound when we visited, if memory serves!! :D
I have a question the English money does it still have Queen Elizabeth on them ? I loved her and want to collect the money even if it one pond
It does, yes!! :D
Thanks 😊
Thought you might be interested King Charles bank notes should be available from mid 2024.

ooo that fish and chips does not look not good ! sorry but there is much better F/C in the UK - hope your enjoying your trip :)
Hah, we were told Poppies was a must, so we gave them a shot! I’m sure we’ll give somewhere else a try next time!! :P

Apparently KFC in Europe is very popular, quite delish, and nothing like the cr#p in North America lol
$64 for fish and chips no thanks
