I’m an international flight attendant and recommend your videos often! I like this one a lot bc you prove you can cover a lot of ground on public transport. Bravo for the gray London I know well. Cheers.
here's hoping we get to see you on a flight one of these days! thank you so much for recommending our videos and for all your hard work taking care of everyone flying with you
Just watched the Behind the Scenes before coming to see the end results abd WOW - so amazing to see ALL the hard work that goes into making these videos! THANK YOU for sharing your travels with us Lisa & Josh. Love your work 👏🥰
Always great to see my city through the eyes of overseas visitors. Sometimes, when you see things every day, you don't realise how lucky you are! Great video.
I watched your "How We Make Our Travel RUclips Videos: From Start to Finish" before I watched the finished product. It's fantastic!! I loved it! Appreciate all the hard work you put into producing it.
Our absolute favourite couple on RUclips! You're in our home country, while we're watching you on our holiday in Goa. We love your videos, they are so we'll made and you two are wonderful to watch. Keep up the amazing work, love from your UK family x
@LisaAndJosh it's incredible, especially southern Goa, Agonda in particular. It would be wonderful if you guys could venture out and do a video here too. Happy New Year to you both and we look forward to watching in 2025 x
I love London, so glad you enjoyed It makes a change from some of the negative takes lately. Yes it's pricey but you can work your way around London and enjoy it. ❤ Loved the video, watched it twice
Guys this video makes me happy on so many levels! I watched “the making of” video which I loved and seeing the finished product! It’s just so much fun. Thank you for doing both!! ❤
Here’s a travel hack for London. If you go into Westminster Abby for Worship, not only is it free, you get to walk around as long as you want after. That’s how I got inside Westminster when I was a broke college student. Absolutely worth suffering through the hour of service and it was a bit of a cultural experience too. You can do the same for St Paul’s.
London in the summer is a totally different experience, and usually shrugs off it's rep for grey clouds and rain for a good chunk of that season. It can hit 40C / ~100F in peak summer and the city really comes alive when the parks are full, the pub gardens are overflowing, and everyone is in good spirits as the sun has landed.
I lived in London for 6 years and used to catch the Clipper boat to and from work everyday when they first started with one boat - so nostalgic to see the inside of one again.
Nice to see you both on my old stomping grounds. Around 8 or so years ago, my wife used to go to Uni in London and I'd catch the train down there quite regularly to hang out. As we were both young and broke we used to walk around Camden Market doing 2 or 3 laps trying free samples of food, before rolling around to the wetherspoons for cheap drinks. If you're ever back in the UK, or want any help with an itinerary outside of London make sure you put something up! Would love to show more of this wonderful country 😊
Wetherspoons is not aa cheap but 2 to 5 it is inc any drink you want. It may not be too notch not having roasts anymore but is a step up from McDonalds.
I love watching your travel videos since I saw the one of you guys in Vietnam! London has always been on my list of places to visit so I'm very delighted to see this video! 🥰
I'm so used to seeing you two in places I haven't been to, so seeing you guys in London was a new kind of fun. Cracked up at the love Greggs was getting XD truly an institution!
Thank you Lisa and Josh for bringing us along with you all over the world. Each one of your videos is as inspiring as it is beautifully made. Each and every time I watch your videos, pushes me to start my own RUclips travel vlogs 😭 and for that I thank you guys. PS which music provider do you use?! It’s always on point!
Another great video making us want to go somewhere new! My wife and I are starting our travel vlogging all over the Philippines, but we'll eventually venture out to the rest of the world. Maybe we'll see you guys out there!
You guys came into my feed, and I’m so pleased. You are such a great couple, who made the most of everything, and seemingly had a great time, with your infectious smiles and humour. Please come back soon. Happily subscribed, too. 🇬🇧🇺🇸
Loved this vlog! Glad you got to try our infamous Greggs and enjoyed the semi derogatory term muppet haha. We have so many from plonker to wanker. I've lived here my whole life and still haven't been to see Changing of the Guard and Winter Wonderland. Hope you guys visit again soon.
I haven't lived in London since 2008 and what struck me was how incredibly expensive everything was. Particularly compared with when I first lived there in the 1990s.
@@annother3350 It was different in the 1990s, there was no congestion charge, no ULEZ, cheaper parking, cheaper public transport and much lower council tax and the price you paid for food and hotels were eye watering. Fees for entering Westminster Abbey were not introduced until 1997. Borough Market sold more raw food and ingredients and less meals and snacks and it was mostly locals and workers and the prices were a lot cheaper.
I love you guys so much!! Idk if this goes against the whole ethos of the channel, but would you be open to doing a $250 a day video? I like being budget as much as the next guy, but if Im in London, I will splurge for Beef Wellington, or those few attractions even if they are $30 each. Most of us travel to a single city once in a lifetime and if were lucky more than once. I get that some people have a stretched out budget but I am just a bit above that for my trips and feel like you guys are missing the finer things that the city has to offer and thus hindering the whole travel experience! I understand if you feel differently, but just an idea/suggestion! Looking forward to the next one regardless 💌
this is a discussion that we've been having a lot lately, actually. no clear outcome yet, but we're taking a month break in january to figure out exactly this :)

Love your videos! Thank you for this Christmas themed video ! I struggled with the audio in this one and I missed a bit of what you were saying however.
So excited to wake up and see another installment. I enjoy them so much I was sad when it was only 30 min🤪 I think I missed the details of the hotel you stayed at. Do you have a link or Google map location?
To me, travelling on a budget is all about accommodation costs. I visited London a couple of years ago and spent a week at a very cheap hotel in Earl's Court. It was all of 6 square metres. The bed was most of the space. The shower was tiny and I struggled to get my fat belly past the brick half wall that was there instead of a shower curtain. Next time I'll be a bit less stingy.
You have to be careful with central London tube stations (some are really close to eachother). By the time you've got down to the train and back up the other end, you might have been better off walking? Save yourself some money and see a bit more of London.
Come back to London and I’ll use my residents discount to get you inside all the places that cost too much! I feel so sad you didn’t get to see inside the abbey 😢
4:49 Omgggg I love that you went to Greggs ❤❤❤ haha amazing. An institution across the country. I’ve even bought my mum a £15 Greggs voucher for Christmas hahaaaa. Love you guys! So chuffed you visited even for just a shirt trip! X

Thank you for the video 😊 At what time of the year did you go? For Christmas markets to be open and Josh with no jacket or minimally a scarf? 😂 Thanks 😊
The answer to the question “Are biscuits cookies in England?” is a resounding no. Unlike biscuits, which are typically crisp and crunchy, cookies in England refer to soft, chewy, and slightly cake-like treats. They often contain chocolate chips or other additions.
There is so much to comment about on this video lol, firstly you thought you bought a English biscuit when you actually got a normal chocolate chip cookie and that’s what we also call them, biscuits normally come in a packet ! And how on earth did you manage to film in Winter Wonderland without asking for permission first as using a camera (not a phone) is banned, when I went I had to get a filming accreditation permit just so I could use my action camera, even dji Pockets are not allowed, crazy eh

Just a small tip. It's pronounced; "Buckinem". You found Greggs! It's a go to place when you want something quick to eat and not spend all your money.
I feel you guys now need to do a similar trip in summer, if only to see how LATE the sun sets. :-)
