Awesome video! I travel to London pretty often and you taught me a few things. Thank you! Definitely sharing with my daughter. She and her husband travel with my grandson all the time.
Had the best time in Oahu (twice!) bc of your vacation guide. So excited to see you expand overseas. I would LOVE if you guys made itineraries for other U.S. states like Florida, California, NY, etc.!!
I always tell people that Google maps is your best friend when trip planning. I belong to several online travel groups and so many people will post a questions like "where is the nearest grocery store from my hotel" because they don't even think of looking at a map. I can't stress enough about doing your research ahead of time. Your videos are extremely helpful because not only do you guys give info, but you also tell people HOW to get the information they need. Thank you. My favorite tip from you is "get the cake". 😁 Edit to add that I would love to see a video about public access toilets. As we walk around and tour Central London, where are we able to use the restrooms. Thank you.
Thanks for the lovely comment! We always start with a map with our trip planning. It helps me get comfortable with a place. We try our best to be helpful! We appreciate the feedback. We can always give more details. We will add tips on toilet access around the city. We do that for Paris as Paris is more challenging on the toilet front.
@@YourGuidesAbroad Thank you. I am planning a trip to London in the next few years but have bladder issues. So I would love all of the tips on where to be able to pop in and use the toilet while walking around the city.
My tip is to bring your own water bottle and reuse it throughout your trip. London has strict water quality testing and most restaurants participate in the “Refill London” program which promotes filling customers water bottles for free. Don’t buy plastic water bottles! Also save and request tap water instead of bottled water at restaurants:)

Starting in 2025, you need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) for all non-citizens traveling to the UK. Adults, children, and babies need to pay £10 each. Terry is correct. Thames Clipper is the public transport on the river. For an audio tour and a trip to Greenwich, we enjoyed this tour yourguidesabroad.com/activities/thames-cruise/
I noticed you showed a museum with old planes! Going this summer with my pilot husband and he loves all things aviation, which museum is that? Thanks for all the great info!
I used to work in international sports media and I based myself in the UK. I spent a lot of time in the West End and the most radical change I ever saw was Oxford Street in August, and Oxford Street after 1 September. The crowded pavements (sidewalks) thinned out by about two-thirds after the foreign visitors and students headed home and it made things a LOT easier to get around . . .
One day London itinerary was priceless!
That is great to hear! Our new 5-day is a gem. Maybe for your next trip!!
You are just enabling me to make an excuse for another trip! 😂
Love the content! My wife and I were there in September too. Great time to visit.
Great time to visit! Thanks for subscribing. We have a lot more London content coming out.

I’m glad we could help and thanks for sharing! Your daughter will have a great time.
Thanks for this great information for my trip this year!
We hope you have a wonderful time in London, Anna!

that is a great tip! Thanks for sharing. We always travel with our water bottles. We always enjoy Thames Water (municipal water).
Also Taxi’s (black cabs) are a quick, accessible way to travel in central London. Not expensive and we can use bus lanes 👋🏾
Thanks for sharing! Black Cabs are a wealth of London history and stories. A classic London experience.

I'll be traveling to London for the first time in April. This video was extremely helpful! Whats the best way to avoid jet lag?
I’m glad we could help! Erica keeps us up till at least 9pm when we land. No naps or early bedtime. Makes for a tough day but it helps.
Thank you for the informative video! Is there a specific Thames River Cruise that you recommend?
As a Londoner you can just get on the Thames clipper you can pick it up in many places in London
Terry is correct. Thames Clipper is the public transport on the river. For an audio tour and a trip to Greenwich, we enjoyed this tour yourguidesabroad.com/activities/thames-cruise/
Thank you!
I noticed you showed a museum with old planes! Going this summer with my pilot husband and he loves all things aviation, which museum is that? Thanks for all the great info!
Its the science museum in Kensington
Terry is correct, it is the third floor of the science museum.
@@YourGuidesAbroad thank you!! He still reminds me we skipped the aviation hanger in salzburg! :)
You might want to visit Royal Air Force Museum in Edgeware, London too 😉
If you have the time go to Duxford museum near Cambridge it has a museum to RAF and a separate museum to USAF worth a visit
So will you guys change your handle to the European Vacation Guide.
😂 in hindsight that would have been better. We are sticking to Europe with this website. Thanks for coming over to the new channel from HVG!
What kind of stroller do you use?
We use a babyzen yoyo. It is expensive but lasts for years and fits overhead on a plane. You’ll see them all over Europe as they are a French company.

That would be something to see. A COVID type moment with the people disappearing.
Yeah mr daxrax 515
What is your favorite brand of sneakers for walking around London?
We don’t have a favorite brand. Wear what is super comfortable for you! We’ve been wearing adidas lately as they are thin and light to pack.
London Eye🤦♂️
Great guide. You pronounced almost everything correctly. It’s burra, not burrow.
Let people pronounce words like they know how to and stop thinking people from other places have to talk like you!
