Why do people keep calling that a port? Does Arabian have a horizontal scrolling magic carpet flying segment? Other than the theme/setting and spelling Arabian, I'm confused why people are calling it a rip-off, clone, port, etc.
Background musics (Atari only): Levels 1 & 3: Rimsky Korsakov - Scheherazade Levels 2 & 4: Rimsky Korsakov-The Young Prince and Princess Page intro: Ludwig Van Beethoven - Symphony No 6. Op 68 - 1st Movement Attract mode: Mozart - Turkish March
The game was also ported to a lot of the 8-bit microcomputers under the name Tales of the Arabian Nights (by Interceptor Software)

It's like Donkey Kong meets Prince of Persia
Cool another classic game from the past 😊
I remember the music of Scheherazade on the first screen when I played this game in the arcade. The William Tell overture just doesn't fit.
4a8p9x Yeah this is the Japanese Sunsoft version, not the American Atari version.
Thanks for clearing that up

Why the William Tell Overture? Why didn't the designers just the cliche tune dooty-do-dee-doo? And, simply put, it's just another Donkey Kong ripoff!
*The Famicom version is harder!*
