@@LegendsofAvantris does one need to watch the prior sessions with these characters in order to follow this plot? i intend to watch both of course but would start with the more recent ones if that’s not inviting confusion. thank you for hours of enjoyment.
Normally not the most invested in folk horror-type DnD, but this is was legitimately intriguing! I liked the direction of this strange, smiling moon-bathed landscape and the fact that several, quite frankly, out of place adventurers immediately get confronted by all sorts of twists and turns that they should be familiar with, but keep finding twists and turns within the twists and turns. It was gripping storytelling from both GM and party all the way through!

Nikkie's voice acting and story telling are boundless. Her performance so far is perfect.
The more I watch, the more I see Virgil as some possessive demon in love with the scarecrow who traps him, yet is to salty to admit it. Virgil’s greatest secret himself is that he actually cares for Jericho, thus he also embodies the Envy Jericho does.
Perhaps I’ve been reading too much fanfiction.

Seeing the genuine shock and suprise on everyones face as Lethica removes her mask might be the most compelling and real reactions I've seen in a dnd campaign in a while.

I can only assume this adventure group failed given the boss minis available. Beast of Blight = Farryn, The Chained Reaper = Yorgrim, The Weeping Widow = Lethica, The Grinning Sinner Briggsy, The Crimson Abbot = Marius, and the Harvest Terror = Jericho. so yeah, seems the fortune tellers hopes were faded.

I find it poetic that Marius, the one that preached about overcoming temptation and not making the same mistakes, was the one to ultimately give to being a vampire and draining the wolf. It saved the others but he still felt shame.
