    It was balakirev's Islamey. His music is waay harder than anything liszt wrote.

    can you assure that?
    to my knowledge, his right hand was injured while he was exercising Liszt hungarian rhapsody.

    He was playing in Tampere, Finland 2002. During the concert he had a bleeding in his brain. It had nothing to do with syphilis or anything like that. Just bad luck.

    I believe it was Liszt's transcription of Don Juan opera.
