- Hi! There are a lot of spectacular carpentry works with kitchen cutting boards on the vastness of RUclips. And 3D, burning, wood cutting. But for my taste, the cutting board should be very simple and elegant at the same time. In this video, my fantasy on the topic of making cutting boards.
Enjoy watching! #nomorewords #asmr #asmrvideo #woodwork #carpenter #cuttingasmr
Beautiful representation of the wood and craftsmanship. These are obviously presentation boards and not utility boards for nightly food prep. The face grain Walnut is perfectly suited for this use and I love that these types of pieces can utilize the grain in the design.
You are right, these are interior boards and can only be used for serving the product 😉👍
Total craftsmanship . Well done young Man
Great video! I really enjoyed it. I liked the logical progression through the build, good use of tools and great atmospherics. The result was stunning...My new favorite channel...kunk
Incredibly beautiful!
Beautiful finish.
I really like to watch you. Your a true craftsman
Liked the process of finishing of every edge
The craftsmanship is amazing
Beautiful! I’d be afraid to actually use them, they’re so nice.
Very good work. Creative, original and very well done. Congratulations
Beautiful job and design on the legged boards. I find the pistol grip on the others a bit large. Nice work all around.
Thank you very much!
I'm glad you liked this video 📹 😉🤝
Cool projects
Surely the glued in dovetailed feet will prevent seasonal movement and will crack
Awesome work! I could watch this video over and over...
Very Professional, well detailed
Why didn't you put the logo on the surface of the larger board too? What a grand job you did. How can I purchase one? Cheers
Natural organic flow. Neat.
Thanks a lot Sundar!
This is one of the main directions of my content, to leave as much as possible the natural appearance of the product 😉🙌
Excelente trabajo muy moderno.
I’m confused. I’m seeing medullary rays on the backside of those cutting boards. Looks like quarter sawn maple. What am I missing here?
Very nice work..great looking boards..would use them more as a charcuterie board than a cutting board though because of the face grain. Also be careful with tung oil, it is from a nut tree and could possibly cause allergic reactions.
I loved them, Thanks
Thank you so much Zak ✌️😁🤝
Parabéns pelo seu trabalho
Obrigado José!
Fico muito feliz que tenha gostado desse vídeo 😉🤝
I am so jealous of all your toys not to say they have to be used by a professional which you are in spades outstanding work you are very skilled thanks Jamie
Thanks a lot Jamie!
I collected these "toys" for a long time, a lot of money and effort was spent, but it was worth it, because now it's much easier for me to work and do what I love ✌️😉👍
Так это чужое видео
Very nice well done.
Thanks a lot Kubilay!
I went to this result for a long time and finally I got it ✌️😉👍
Hermoso trabajo....
Might want to distinguish between pure tung oil, which is food safe and regular use tung oil, which is not.
This is exactly what pure tung is 😉
Cool build. Why did you use a manual router sled to flatten the boards if you had a CNC?
Thank you very much 🤝
I used a hand router because it's faster.
I have a rather weak CNC machine and its speed is not high.
I assume you have little to no change in humidity in your region. Cross grain gluing will not allow the top to expand with increase humidity. Maybe consider just gluing one end of the rail to allow movement. Just a thought
Его регион город Красноярск. Сибирь. Там не только изминения влажности но еще и перепад температур от +30 до -30
Que hermoso trabajo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🥰😊
Another great video. 👏👏
Thanks MASI!
I'm very glad that you liked it 😉🤝
Good job…. I do think you’re getting a little too confident on that router however. That’s when accidents happen.
Very nice work. Which cnc machine do you have to cut out your boards.
This is the simplest CNC machine, it has belt drives and therefore can only work with wood
Very good work
Thank you very much Abdullah 🖐 😉🤝
cutie but end grain is better!
Wow very cool amazing work as always
Thanks Jim!
I tried to keep it minimalist and authentic at the same time 😉
muito bom....
parabens!
Beautimous 😅 love the finish look
All I can say is….spectacular!!!
Thank you so much Chris!
I'm glad you liked this video 😉 🤝
Superb.
Good job!!!!!
Thank you very much Luiz 🖐 😊
Magnífico! Parabéns!🌟🌟🌟
Do you prefer ting oil rather then butcher block oil? Thanks
Dam, first time here, Reminds me of home, New Subscriber from Idaho.
Thank you very much!
I tried to make an atmospheric video so that it could evoke feelings that are close to everyone.
Thank you for subscribing, for me it is very important at the initial stage ✌️😉🤝
Very nice job.
Nice job. And what about the wood movement?
Thanks a lot Karel!
This wood is quite stable.
The maximum bend can be 1 mm, this is not critical for such a product 😉
Good work man.
Can you list tools and products you use in your description?
I use tung oil as well.
Is there going to be a splitting of the cutting boards due to gluing in of the long feet in a cross grain configuration?
Thanks for the question David!
Enough time has passed since they were made and the boards feel good, no deformations are observed, the boards are quite stable ✌️😉👍
awesome
Wow nice
Thank you so much Hillbilly ✌️😉👍
Beautiful work! What is the black filler you used?
This is cyanoacrylate glue mixed with alcohol dye.
Wow!!Beautiful …
Q: what’s the little planer called & where can I buy it from..
Be nice to know how thick they are and approximately what size they are? Great job.
what is that tool you used to clean out dovetails
Everything is very simple Dustin, this is a small hand planer 😉
These are beautiful boards but walnut cutting boards will warp over time, especially after a number of cleaning cycles. These should be used as charcuterie boards, they will last longer . Cutting boards should be end grain or edge grain.
Greetings!
You are right, but the "axes" boards are not cutting, but serving.
The other two boards can be used as you like without bending them, since they have oak transverse inserts installed.
Well, at the very end of the video, if you look closely, then there are slightly different options, a mixed board - end + face 😉
Great job. Thanks. What is the name of that finger-sized plane that you use, please?
What kind of glue do you use for your router sled? Love your work!
Nice...I wish I had a laser engraver and a cnc machine. Things would be easier to make.
what is that hand plane you are using to champher the feet of the cutting board?
This is a homemade planer for very delicate work 😁👍
There is a reason to say...I don't like it...I love it !!❤❤
I'd buy all of them and use it as a display... magnificent work. What do you use at 2:06 to keep the boards stable? I don't recognize that black liquid of greatness.
I think it's just black glue sticks
Nice bro
Very cool design! would you sell your pattern?
Thanks Darrell! I understand that you are interested in the "axe" pattern?
What file format do you need?
@@no_more_words jpeg, thanks
OK no problem.
Write your mail or any other contact so that I can send you a file .
did you get my email address? I haven't seen the file come in yet. thanks
Non-profitable item only. Looks awesome, great craftsmanship and attention to detail. Unfortunately takes way to much time and material to make any profit, practically making it a charity giveaway item only.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice looking work! I would never glue the foot, the dovetail will keep it in place. Drill a small hole in the center of your foot and glue in a wood pin from the bottom up but not thru the top, can't move sideways or fall out. IMO. I enjoy the "No More Words" format, Thanks, John
Thank you very much for your comment, in the future I will definitely take this into account and take advantage of your advice.
I am a beginner carpenter, I am still learning ✌️😁🤝
Could also make them tapered, with the friction required to seat them fully there's little chance of falling out.
Agree!
Thanks for the advice ✌️😉👍
Parabéns muito lindo seu trabalho, que madeira é essa???
Obrigado!
Esta é a noz americana, o chamado ébano
just wondering why you glued the legs? are you not worried about wood movement?
I'm not exactly an experienced wood worker and I'm just learning.
In fact, the legs only stuck at the very end of the groove, as all the glue was squeezed out.
Today I see that the boards have become a little wider and no cracks have appeared, this is very pleasing 😅😉
If you sold them, how did you price the boards?
Cross grain glue up?
I love ur infill hand plane, did U make it or did you purchase? If bought, where? Seems to be a very versatile size. Can see it fit nicely into my work flow. Cheers bud.
I made a system for leveling the plane myself, there is nothing complicated there.
Two rails and a guide along which the router moves.
I adjust the leveling depth on the router itself. 😉
Thanks for ur discription of ur router set up, however, I was asking about ur mini infill handplane. Where did you purchase it?
Ahhh, sorry.
It was a gift from my grandfather, he made it with his own hands, it was a long time ago and now you can’t find them anywhere 😅
Sharp tools in skilled hands…
Damn nice
Bonjour,
👍👍
✌️😉🤝
So… do you like walnut? LOL> I’m laughing that you smelled it so many times. Only because I may have done that once or twice LOL
Very nice boards.
🤣👍
It's actually black walnut (American) and it really smells delicious.
saw the glue gun,,what kind of adhesive are you using?
Where do you sell these?
Would you apply a coat of cutting board wax after the tung oil?
No, waxing is absolutely not required after tung oil.
Since the wax will still wash out, and the oil polymerizes very well and is in the wood.
Do you make a pattern to sell if a person doesn't have a cutter like you use.
Thanks prouf

Thank you so mach
do you happen to have an upholstery furniture youtube? your shop and the chester sign look familiar...
You are right 😁
I have several more channels, including CHEST'ER.
I decided to diversify the subject of my content a little and for this I need a new channel (this one).
In general, welcome ✌️😉🤝
@@no_more_words Awesome. Well this is great too :)

Cual seria el valor comercial de tus tablas?
Tolle Arbeit und super Ergebnis 🤩 würdest Du mir bitte verraten was für ein Holz das ist 😘
Black walnut
Nice work. I still make mine by hand cutting. What type of hot glue to you use.Mine never seems to hold consistently.
Does it smell as good as huon pine?
Even better 😄
Very similar to the smell of perfume
gloves?
I sorry to say when you used a cnc for cutting and layouts to me it hand made anymore it machine made that is my felling about that
Beautiful cutting board and you were doing ok until the CNC router turned up, the previous post said Craftsmen I totally disagree as its just a person whos good at operating a very sophisticated woodworking machine or someone who can afford one ,I really did think that it would be done by hand tools but no ,its still beautiful and the design is amazing so well done
Very nice cutting boards, but the profile of the board could have been made with a bandsaw, I use machines only to assist in the production of my work . That is where the art of craftsmanship comes in and the machining stops.
Good video. No ASMR. Wish RUclipsrs would quit using that acronym. It just doesn't happen. 👍👍
Thanks, John !
If you don't like ASMR, then you can watch these videos with music on the I MAKE channel, the link is in the description 😉
@@no_more_words no thanks 👍🏼👍🏼
Autonomous sensory meridian response is a tingling sensation that usually begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine.
☝️🤣👍
Simply put, it's goosebumps.
Are you getting high from sniffing the wood? hehe. Those first two look like fancy meat cleavers. Beautiful!
Very nice. Although, in my humble opinion, if you use a CNC you can’t truly call them handmade. Just saying.
I understand what you are talking about.
But if you look closely, it becomes clear that the CNC just cut out these shapes for me, I did the rest of the work with my own hands, including a manual mechanical tool 😉
Wait, yes these a really pretty, but you are selling Face Grain cutting boards? They won’t last a month of use before looking terrible. I’d be more impressed had you done the same with either Edge Grain and best End Grain! Amazing how little people truly know.
Everything is fine, don't worry 😉🙌
These boards can be used as serving boards, for serving dishes and then it will last a very long time👍
Amazing how much some people know.
90% of cutting boards made and sold are face grain, and they work fine and last a long time
Very nice
love your jigs
Kinda creepy all the sniffing..?
☝️🤣👍
You would love this smell too, this wood smells like perfume 😉
You should see him in the laundry mat😅
Cnc! Who cares?
I'm not impressed.
No skill! Like a robot....
The robot only accelerated the manufacturing process, but the main work is done by hand 😉
