Where it all started, Watching your videos has been a great few years, Never forget how hard you worked to get where you are today.
You accomplished a great deal!
There dawn of Duong!!! 😊 The first video of hundreds, a 6 year journey so far. Here's to many more years of Primative Skills!!!
What strikes me, as a westerner, is the quiet, slow, gentle, determination that is needed to make a tiny coal out of wood that then becomes a strong fire. I tried this as a kid and got smoke but I was in too much a hurry and I wasn't gentle enough. Now that I'm an adult I find these qualities are more important in daily living. My wife and I are going camping again and this time... no lighter.
Fire plow is a hard technique !!! Congratulations for your skills !!!
thanks
Easter than hand drill
@@Mikeocxlong Hand drill is so much easier than fireplow
wtf, so many bad comments. Keep making these videos brother
Don't listen to the haters, this is a good video, if people don't want to watch they don't have to click. This is a simple and effective fire starting technique that's still used in many places by bush people.
Primitive technology is a cool channel because it's clearly a guy with a day job who loves to be outside and is teaching himself primitive survival techniques. Then contrast it with this channel. This guy takes it up a notch with some real hunting and gathering. The big difference is this kids clearly been doing this stuff his whole life.
Both channels are great and worth a sub!
The problem is primitive skills got in a bunch of trouble for staging and faking a lot of stuff in these older vids, he did a complete 180 and does amazing work now
I'd die for the knowledge you know about living primitively.. it's sad that people are one nuclear war or pandemic away from being in this situation.. and until then is when they truly wished they watched your videos for informative purposes. Like Joe Dirt says, "Keep on, keep it on"
Thank you for the fire plow idea! I never would have thought of that... It looks so basic, but I'd say it would make me tired quick, but it WILL work. Thanks for the video.
ignore the haters! your doing good things
And with that little ember your time in your valley began!
Thank you for being able to post such wonderful videos over the years!
🥰🥰
I like your videos. Their content is teaching some of the basics. I wish you could write a short description, like what kind of wood to look for for a fire plow or at least what you found. Or, in the foraging video, what to look for. From your videos we can observe your technique but we don' know what to look for. Keep making the videos!
Is teaching nothing, rather misleading people by making them believe all of this is easy and one does not need much information to be able to do it. In all these things so much can go wrong without the knowledge of the rest of the 99%.
Абоба
Wow, that is amazing how you made a fire out of nothing. Keep going man, I love this stuff. And by the way, just ignore the insults. I like the nails, it makes it all seem more primitive. Your amazing.
Nothing comes from nothing.
Those thumbnails are the things of nightmares. It gives me a visceral reaction at every closeup of his hands
Nice
Stone tool, and I’ve never done a coal off the pull stroke! You taught me something new!
Thanks!❤
Thank you so much for taking the time and teaching us, I have just recently got into wanting to learn primitive survival, that now I can't get enough of wanting to learn it in, God bless you
Dec 2022 gang 🎉
Rewatching all your vids for the 3rd time. Better than Netflix. It’s so relaxing 😌
thank you
I’m rewatching just for the memories 😁
I've been watching your videos for a few hours and I think they're all really interesting! It's good quality information and I say keep doing what you're doing, it's great.
That was truly amazing, I love learning new things.
I just watched a bunch of your videos, and subscribed. The whole time I was watching I was thinking what great shape you're in! You look strong and fantastic! Anyone who says less can't be anything but a troll or hater. Great videos! That's amazingly hard work. You've done a great job!
drinking beer and sitting in your comfortable couch at home you guys are worth to laugh a lot.
The fireplough is a tough one! The bowdrill is easier, but takes more preperation - so this is a big win for you. Nicely done :D
Watching this video 5 years later all you haters and saying he “copied” you will never know what he has become he has now become a great RUclipsr
I had never seen your first video’s, so I decided to check them out! : ) Am I wrong or was the gentleman in the first 2 videos your dad? He has more hair, but looks older. Just curious. : )
Great job with the fire plow demo! Thats not where I expected to see the ember form. That was a surprise. I thought it would form on the other end of the furrow. That was pretty cool! : ) A wonderful skill to have. Thanks for sharing.
I loved this video. Always wanted to see how a fire plow worked in real life. Time to go do this one myself...Thanks!
Also wanted to say thank you for making these videos. It's been 2 decades that I wanted to learn primitive skills like these and finally found your videos. Thank you a lot!
Wicked videos! Thank you for sharing all this.
well done.. the method can work up a sweat easy...nice to see you took time on the coal as well most ppl rush it...a good coal can last 10 mins
Hi,
Firstly, well done!!
I was just wondering most people including indigenous tribes get a coal on the other side of the board.
Was this an accident or was it planned to have the coal on your pull motion instead of with the push motion?
Looking at the board it seems you give the most pressure in the groove with the push motion (blackened wood). That's why I'm wondering.
Cheers and keep up the good work!
Do u still use this spot? Is it a seasonal camp? Noticed all your recent videos are at the new homestead. Just wondering.
I like videos like it's your way. Videos not spoken. Understand perfectly what you are doing. I think communication is more comprehensive for most people in the world, like Charlie Chaplin's films.
Love your limestone cave!
Holy crap guys he found the fountain of youth!
It's cool to see this kind of videos. Keep doing your job!
For those who have used both. Which is easier to light fire with? Fire plow, or bow drill?
Like the video. The comments leave much to be desired. Nail this, ripoff that, unoriginal here, and chubby there.
Keep being you dude
good job bro. You're not fat or ugly,. don't listen to sad people.
thanks friend :)
True, but you should trim those fingernails. Not worth it, even as primitive technology.
I think he is, because I saw him using a plant (or something else) typical from Vietnam.
I guess he could chew them too
thank you for sher good job bro
thanks friend
Api sangat penting untuk terus bertahan hidup..fire is essential for survival...👍
What is the primitive way for cut the nails?
hi primitive do not stop uploading videos greetings from Veracruz Mexico
I enjoy your channel. keep it all up! maybe build up a campsite from primitive technology?
Abdi ma reuseup ninggali konten anu model kieu th

Lajeungken primitif
Yall some ADOS people. The man is trying to teach us something and yall be like: "hurr durr fingernails!!"
I think this is the hardest one to do. I once tried it in my back yard but the wood was not bone dry. I tried for what seemed like hours, It brought out a side of me that I didn't like so much!
Very interesting. I have not seen this method of making fire before. I can't wait to see your other videos.
yaaaaay! more primitive technology videos! im gonna sub!
This isn't a rip-off of Primitive technology, is your original content, thanks for the videos dude.
Great video. Keep up the great work
Were you trying to catch something from under the rock with the cobweb or just checking if it is not there anymore?
I'd love to see some primitive hunting :)
Having long fingernails can be useful, ask any herbalist without a grinder ;) Awesome job dude. It doesn't matter if there are other channels like your own, keep it up. Taylor Swift told us all about the haters!! If you saw someone do something and felt like you could do it better, i see nothing wrong with that .
Thanks!
Thank you so much🥰🥰
If people call you fat or large anytime around where you live, just give them the link to your channel, because you sure as hell aren't fat or large in any case.
Much more realistic way to start a fire than banging two rocks together
Ignore the idiots complaining, aparently some people don't get that you can be fans of both PT and your videos. it's like people don't get that both are possible. @_@
fuck up hes stealing primitive technology video style
honestly my problem with this guy is that hes literally calling it primitive technology and then the video title its literally a way to steal views and thats sad because this content can more then stand on its own legs
+Hamakaze +Forspada +Andrey Resh +Basic7786 Decades before You Tube, and the Aussie 'Primitive Technology' channel, there was and IS the "Society of Primitive Technology". Many in the SPT have been doing this stuff for 40-50 years. Things existed before You Tube...like the Paleolithic.
+Primitive Technology Beau Travail, Bravo. Respect. Continuer!!!
Im not trying to say this sorta content hasn't been around your missing the point probably on purpose hes calling his videos primitive tech to steal views from the channel called primitive tech
Спасибо за видео! Подписан на ваш канал, очень интересно. Жду новых видео.
thanks
Primitive Skills You understand Russian?
@@oldcomp01 : Google Translate, or similar.
nice skillz dude
Where did this guy come from? Not the same guy who was in video foraging for yam or video catching crabs and fish. This one is 25 years or so younger. It would be nice to have subtitles explaining what you are doing. But maybe you don't speak English that well?
If this is not a fake, it is often true-coal is collected in the nearest part to itself. At least-I also have the same dream. This method is very subtle, I try to work it out as efficiently as possible, so that every time it turns out. But here you need to take into account all the nuances. And until that the most effektvnyy method a view ceasefire from primitive, this friction-drilling, the fire drill and skating fibers, for example cotton or nettles, or cannabis... if the author reads comments-I will be glad to any practical advice. Sincerely, Anatoly.
Fire Plow is a tremendous name.
đẳng cấp thật. giờ mới biết kênh anh
The story of duong started i would follow this man into the firey depth of hell
Whatever it takes ! Looks like a good fire to me. Let's eat.
God: You have unlocked the Fire Age.
Cool! People saying this is a rip off need to start filming themselves doing some cool shit and making fire out of twigs!
Keep em coming!
He literally starts off the video calling himself Primitive Technology Guy Official. He obviously ripped off Primitive Technology, but now calls himself Primitive Skills and that doesn’t mean he doesn’t do amazing work.
Make a title-explanation. With them you will succeed!
thanks
ugh I've been trying to accomplish this skill it's so hard
Hi there where can I find your first video?
I really enjoyed this video. Interesting way how to make fire.
I wonder if this only works on certain trees/wood?
Now let's go back to Minecraft survival mode 2nd character episode 1
why are people hating?
I always think about the first human who found a fire from a lightning strike and decided it was a good thing. Same with ancient people who discovered that heating certain rocks yields metal. Was there a blacksmith zero who spread that knowledge?
Good technique. I ever get lost in the woods in Vietnam, hopefully we meet each other. :)
great job!
Just to help you and subscribe and turned on notifications and like great video keep it up
An interesting new method of breeding fire by friction
6:24 i hear turn that off
should change the video title to primitive skill also m8...
Great video!
What is your name change?
instead of using "primitive technology" in the title, why not just "primitive skills"? you will always get views because your videos are good, you don't need to get the hate for using "primitive technology" from the bigger channel we all know and love... i think you should consider this. Cheers

thanks^^
Good video
IM JOKING BRO YOU ARE GOOD
ginaya mo langyan sa isa pang foreign primitive na aking na follow na. pinoy talaga. gaya gaya lang

I mean look on the bright side. Now you guys have more content to watch. Let the man do his thing. Can you show us how to hunt 🐯 tigers next?
What happened to the older guy?
show this man some respect. these skills are extremely difficult and take years of practice to master
You do realize he used to call himself Primitive Technology Guy Official, an obvious ripoff or primitive technology. And used to stage and fake things right? That doesn’t mean he’s not skilled and he does amazing work now.
nice place

….2 pieces of wood come's from the ("SAME") Tree....
Great video (maybe cut out 3 minutes, it started to get a bit long). I really enjoyed seeing the difficulty of creating something like this.
Pretty decent Primitive tech knockoff. Good job, keep it up.
Just because he uses the factual title of primitive technology doesn't mean he is a knockoff
Первые два видео там другой человек. Почему?
와 진짜 대단하다.... 개쩜
