    I dont get it why people hate on him just cause he uses the same style as primitive technology. i just think its better to have more people do this! Spread the word...

      i think the amount of views primitive technology gets and his popularity, i think the motto "spread the word." doesn't really work.

    The ammount of effort doing into these videos is likely more than most people will achieve on a single project in their life time. He has "copied" the formula, not the content and is thus providing us with more of what we like to see, but from a different source and making a great effort to do so.

    Primitive Technology is an accurate description of what his videos are about - He is not "copying" the other RUclipsr whoese channel name is "Primitive Technology" just because his channel is similiar - His own Channel is called "Primitive Skills", and his videos are good quality, informative & enjoyable. - You people need to relax, and stop being such sensitive snowflakes, and just enjoy the content being produced by Primitive Skills.

  • @ElizabethGreene

    This video shows how you notch logs for a cabin with stone tools and also making a flat rock stove for cooking. The clay base will keep the fire elevated above wet ground and let them leave the fire unattended without risking burning down the forest. It will also keep the coals hot for many hours so they can use those to start a fire instead of having to do it with the fire plow.
    With the fire pit today and the shovel just a few days ago... are you working towards doing pottery?

    PT doesn't copyright the format of his videos. Don't go off on this guy just because he does very closely what PT does. I'm willing to bet that most of you got pissed off at TheFineBros when they tried to copyright the format to their videos, and now would be delighted for this channel being taken off RUclips. Sure, the name of the titles could be changed, but as most people have said in the comments, putting "Primitive Technology" in your title is very similar to just putting "Lets Play" in your title. If I made a video and titled it "Lets Play: Pewdiepie", that would be wrong, as my video would have nothing to do with Pewdiepie. However, putting "Primitive Technology: Wood Stove" in your title is fine, even if there is a popular RUclipsr with the same name. What he created was indeed primitive technology, which is only misleading if you look at it as though PT owns this new genre of videos. This guy obviously puts a lot of time and effort into these videos, and even if his format is the same, it is extremely unfair to revile and blacken his reputation as a RUclipsr.

    • @gutlansnoyan2068
      @gutlansnoyan2068 7 лет назад +1

      It's not that he's copying, it's that he is labeling them as Primitive Technology, when this is already the title of another channel. Personally I agree it shouldn't matter because they both cover a wide range of skills. Primitive Technology uses lots of clay for his builds and Primitive Skills displays more broad amount of 'skills'. It would be cool to see them do a project together however.

    where is the part that show us how to court women the primitive way?

  • @JusBidniss
    @JusBidniss 6 лет назад +4

    Seems like a nice flat surface for cooking, and all the stone mass seems like it would capture heat and radiate it out effectively, especially the horizontal piece. Not sure what the wooden frame contributed to the project, other than maybe aesthetics, or keeping the flattened earth from washing down that sloping ground when it rains? Anyway, the notches in those joints should be facing down. Upward-facing notches collect rainwater, which quickly rots out the joint (kind of a basic factoid in stacked-log cabin construction).

    • @ellyzamaemijares7240
      @ellyzamaemijares7240 6 лет назад

      in asia that is work properly and its contenue to generation,even its rain or storm,

    • @JusBidniss
      @JusBidniss 6 лет назад +4

      I'm just saying an upward facing notch is like a cup or bowl, collecting the water, allowing it to absorb into the wood fibers, and taking much longer to dry out afterward -- a recipe for wood rot. If the notch is carved/chopped out of what will be the upper log, then that log rolled into place and fitted over the top of the one beneath, so that the notch faces down over the lower log, then the water can't collect in the notch, and the joint will last much longer.

    • @ellyzamaemijares7240
      @ellyzamaemijares7240 6 лет назад

      thats is not working properly man,in here in asia people in tribe they use what they have in forest you will find an idea to survive everyday not by modern known,skills not also studying,people will find anything that they will survive and thats the way they live

    Primitive Technology's methods aren't as effective as this guy's in this environment. His methods don't necessarily apply to Technology's environment (i.e. the difference in bamboo and stone). The viewer is merely gathering information, and I think more data is ALWAYS better.

      Rocks only explode if taken from within or the shore of a body of water, and they only explode because they're saturated, not just damp from moisture. I really wish people would get a complete education on a subject before mentioning it.
