Gray Beard, Thanks for the video. I have a 2019 Tri Glide everything stock. I purchased the 14" apes by LA Chopper that you suggested at the beginning of your video. Everything has gone well except my external wiring on the bars. Harley has the original bars dimpled so that the control wires can pass under the control mounting clamps. No pinched wires. The LA choppers have only a elongated hole. No matter how hard I have tried to have the wiring pass under and come out the hole it just seams there isnt enough hole to get the control to mount close to where I think it should be unless I have it hanging out 3/4 of an inch away from the shoulder of the lip where the bar increases in size. That is the left or clutch side problem. Throttle side same issue. If I put the TBW all the way into it place in the bar then it wont engage into the gear mech unless I push the control mech up to the hole pinching the wires. My question to you is what was your experience with this issue or did you have an issue? Is there a secret to not pinching the crap out of your wires? Getting the TBW to engage to the stock grip and still have room for the wires to com out from under the control? On the TBW side of the bar should I not push the TBW to far into the bar as to get an extended reach for the grip to engage the TBW? Thanks in advance. I know this sis a wordy question but I am at a loss figuring this one out. That part wasn't covered in your video from stock to new bar control wiring. HOBO98498
I apologize, in my previous video putting the same bars on my Limited, I showed making the hole longer to make room for the wiring. Thank you for watching and your question. I'll see if I can make a note in the video about that mod to the bars. Hope that helps.
Great vid my question is this I have a 21 triglide and bought the KST 14" Mayhem bars with 10" extentions for wires. My question is the gas tank and clutch cable extention a must to instal those bars?
If you have a cable clutch, then yes you must get the extention. The hydraulic clutch can be rerouted. Look at my video of putting these same bars on my 2014 Ultra Limited. Thanks for watching!
Great video! I'm gunna go the same route on my 2000 ultra using external wiring. Black bars with black cables seems ok to me. Where did the plug n play extensions come from? Thank you from Anacortes, WA in the Great Pacific Northwest!
You are a title this your history class
"I Love Heroes Hayden Panettiere"
I am loving the color of that Triglide getting ready to watch your 14 inch apes I have 12 keep the videos coming
Thanks for watching! It draws attention everywhere we go. The 14's seem to be just about right for comfort.
Great work on your channel too. Looking forward to seeing more.
Do you experience neck tension with the 12" rise bars?

Hello Grey Beard! New subs Tom here from At Home with Tom and Rhonda Howard! Love your Trike!
Thanks for the kudos, and welcome aboard. I subbed to your channel too.
Thanks! Your video answered a lot of questions for me!
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching! Be sure to subscribe. Let me know if there is anything else I could do a video on to help you out.
Great video. I may switch mine on my 13 tri glide.
Wow, you make it look easy.
How much taller are new bar compared to stock ones
I have a 2017 Freewheeler and looking for a rider backrest. Would you know if the mounts would be compatible between the TG and the FW?
How do you like your Mustang

Thanks for watching! I got the extentions from Denniskirk.com, about $30 for the pair.
Would be the same on a 2023 Tri Glide Ultra classic.
