Thank God for old songs of Zion. While spending my quiet time this morning, The Holy Spirit ministered to me through this song. My heart cried, because if I was never told about the story of Jesus, what would have become of my life? I can surely join with the writer who penned this little chorus "When I think of the goodness of Jesus, and what He has done for me, my very soul cries out Alleluia!!!!! Thank God for saving me. Thank God for the old songs of Zion.
I was awakened with this song on my heart. How wonderful to find and sing along with this rendition. The memory I had is of how I learned it as a child. I am now 74 and it is a blessing now as it was then ☺All Praises to Almighty God 🙌🏾

I was just thinking of that song so I had to look for it. I noticed there was a slight change in how the choir sang than in the lyrics on the screen because they sang tell of something when the lyrics on the screen were affliction.
