- A couple weeks ago, a new free-to-play game came out for the Nintendo Switch, which was Ninjala. This game quickly garnered a Ninjala community but Ninjala reviews have been mixed as some feel like it’s a button-mashy game while others feel it has a higher learning curve than some give it credit for. There’s also been a lot of people doing Ninjala vs Splatoon 2 comparisons, to critique the game and show what they can improve on. With all of these different Ninjala opinions, I thought I’d create an Honest Ad on the game, displaying some of the positives and negatives about the game in a satirical manner. I’ll be talking about the gameplay, the jala and even more. What are your thoughts on Ninjala? Before recording this, I actually thought I was gonna get a ton of WNA academy since that's what I used to always get. For me, that actually ended up changing lol. But anyway, I've been hearing some mixed reviews about Ninjala so I thought I'd consider both sides in this video. What are your thoughts on Ninjala? Let me know right here in the comments!

Yeah it’s a really good game, honestly I was getting slightly bored of Splatoon (aka getting splatted all the time, constantly loosing my rank, and having a mental BREAKDOWN BREAKDOWN). I like the varied content of both sploon and ninjala.
I enjoy it and don’t mind that Jala is a thing, considering it is all cosmetic and not like Splatoon with gear abilities. Although the tutorials could be better, but if you know how to play it’s a blast. Ranked is really fun as people actually know how to play and aren’t thinking “hehe ZR go brrrrr”

Art style wise it looks like splatoon but gameplay wise it reminds me more of boruto: naruto shinobi striker

I played on WNA so many times that when I finally got Eagle City for the first time I got lost because the map wasn't just a literal square.
At this time, Ninjala just feels like a high budget rip-off.
It’s mostly just Rock Paper Scissors a lot when you battle, it’s such a odd concept
Status update: I've now spent $200 or more into this game.

At first before release day I wasn't sure if I was gonna get Ninjala, but after watching many videos about it, I got it and I'm really into it now. I got the battle pass and I'm currently at level 41 and at tier 32 as of commenting this. 😸
I think Ninjala is a very fun game. I know a lot of people don't like the rock paper scissors mechanic but I think it's a pretty fun one. The slight suspense of seeing whether or not you chose the right direction is exciting if you ask me. 😺

i think ninjala is ok, i feel like it needs more maps and possibly a map or two thats just a tiny bit bigger, and a easier way to go up in tiers faster
i agree. ninjala has been releases for a few weeks now and players have gotten used to the mechanics of the game. i think its a perfect time to add the new maps.
There's already been 3 extra maps confirmed
@Calebe Souza I semi agree. There is enough "depth" to the mechanics that you can influence the tide of the battle, but at the same time the sheer bullshittery of the combat forces it to become "spam r1 to win"
Have people really rarely gotten out of eagle city? I have only been there once, ever, and it was in an invite party battle, which I disconnected from when I finished.
When I first started playing this game, I desperately wanted to play on Eagle City because it would only give me WNA Academy. Now I desperately want Eagle City to be removed from the game.

This game looks fun. When I figure out how to get this game I definitely will because I only have three games on my Nintendo switch right now. Bendy,super mario party,and Splatoon 2.

Congrats on 30k! I remember at the splatfest recently you were celebrating 26 or 27, ur growing quick! Quicker then my rank falls down in splatoon hopelessly trying to main charger....

@j well I kind went thru a phase. Please remember I was (for some reason) using sticks at this point. First, it was the normal charger. Then, I tried the squiffer with the mindset of "well I can charge fast, so if I miss most of my shots I usually have five or six before they kill me" I got a bit better and used splatterscope, and still do- it was with the splatterscope that I keep pressing the record button. I also use Normal charger-thier panic button of -leave a bomb on a sniping post and dip-combibed with stingray I find the most useful....
That was a whole damn saga, I'm sorry.but I spent about 2 minutes writing it, and I'm not about to delete the while the just to say 'yh I main splatter scope and regular. I'm doing a bit better now, with 4 A ranks.

Ninjala is really fun I’ve been enjoying the game, am completely used to the controls now I just wish they added a rock, paper and scissors on one of those arrows when you enter a parry situation so that way it can be easier to tell which is which, but overall the games really great.

I normally don’t disconnect actually, because I like pressing random buttons, it normally goes into a penalty. (I’m trying to stop tho)

I think Eagle City kinda sucks, sure you can run up buildings but it’s a pain to look for drones and people

Actually, the origin of the dragon move is probably Goku’s Dragon Fist, as it looks SUSPICIOUSLY SIMILAR to Hanzo’s Ult and the gum dragon.

One thing that I hate is how the custom weapons get wasted after one turn. That means you can't use your legendary without wasting it.
