    Hello Christine,
Thank you for making this video. I am a Retried Air Force Gulf War Veteran. I was diagnosed by the VA with PNES back around 2015. At my worst I looked like I had Parkinsons. At times I deal with gait disturbances; that make it very difficult to walk at times. For the most part, now days the PNES events happen when Im fully awake or laying down to go to sleep. In the beginning they were happing while I was sleeping (really bad head jerking), but have now gone mainly to my legs or feet (twitching & jerking) sometimes really bad.
I saw a Neuro Physical Therapist (a Doctor) about 2 years ago that helped a lot. At times I have been able to get the PNES in remission (for months or have mikd symptoms, & other times when I least expect it, it shows up really bad. I saw a video from the Epilepsy Foundation this morning (it was made about 2 years ago) that you may be interested in viewing if you haven't seen it before. Because of if I think Im going to get a second opinion.
Religion at times is really difficult for me & other times its not. I found a lot of help from receiving Amnio Acids by infusion & Hormonal Therapy (out of pocket), but it was eating up my wife's & my finances.
I have watched a few of your other videos (and appreciate you making them) &
noticed this video was created about 2 year's ago. Would it be ok to make contact with you? I don't know of anyone else who deals PNES & at times it can be very difficult. Thank God my wife is very understanding & supportive. I don't know what I would do without her.
FYI, I also have had a lot of positive experiences with Amnio Acids (they are the building blocks in our foods), to include taking Magnesium & Theanine when dealing with Anxiety / or PNES events.
I hope & pray you are continuing to do well & no longer experiencing PNES events.
    Sincerely & Respectfuly,
    Tony

Hi Tony, thank you for your devotion to mine and others freedoms. I’m very sorry - and all too familiar from others stories - for the trauma and horrors you’ve had to face. I would be honored to connect and encourage anyone to. My email is Christine@TransferOutPNES.com

Blessings sweet sister. This blessed me so much. My son suffers from PNES, PTSD and Dissassociative Identity Disorder (DID) among other things and I have recently found out why. He can't bring himself to deal directly with it as it causes his nightmares to increase at the thought of it, which then make him sick. I just keep praying and hoping he will chose to face them one day and get healed and that he will embrace our loving heavenly father and be free from all this.

Bless you and your son! I know about all 3 of those and you can overcome all of them, we were created with a body that heals- I pray he will come to find hope and the truth I found! ❤️

I think that is why my body has reacted this month so badly.

Yes. I agree with you that I don't have a true support system. I have a therapist. I have a husband who doesn't help in the right ways. I'm not sure how to fix at this time.

If I may suggest, there is a lot of help within support groups among peers. If your struggle is with anxiety or depression, start there. If you already know that you have unhealthy coping mechanisms, start there. It’s just one step at a time. If you could change 3 things about your life (not other people) what would they be. Break those down into small pieces or goals and even work with your counselor to help. Our healing is about change 🙂 I hope that helps. I can tell you that I’ve been seizures free since summer of 2015 and that has been my journey over my mind, spirit, and body - step-by-step 😁❤️

What do you do when your PNES leads to depression, which criples you with suicidal thoughts constantly. Drugs and psychiatry don't seem to work and every day it seems like the clouds are getting darker and darker over your head... Praying isn't helping anymore and they say to cast all your cares on him, but which ones because you simply don't know what you care about...

Daniel the first thing I want to tell you is that responding to all you are going through is normal - feeling depressed as a side effect is normal. This is hard, and I can tell you first hand that if you have the support you need, the skills to overcome some of the obstacles... and if you are fresh out of hope - let me hold out my hand and come alongside you to work through this. Suicide is not your hope - let me try to help... and if that isn't your desire then I insist you reach out to talk through your suicidal thought/ideation with professional and strategi support 1-800-273-8255. My direct email is christine.mauriello32@gmail.com. There is hope - there are things to do... don't quit. I'm praying alongside of you that God will give you hope
