Stepping out of the cinema I was half depressed and half confused. Get it? Half! Haha, I'm so funny. Bad puns aside upon reflection I come to realize I can understand where Thanos is coming from and although there will always be an outweighing number of counterarguments I wanted to take a second to just go into a little detail into the madness, after all, a little bit of madness never hurt anyone right?
I personally apologize if I seem flat in this, the next episode is much more upbeat and (don't tell anyone, it's Star Wars) I may or may not be drunk.

Yeah, you are right, there is no only black or only white, everybody has their own motivations.
But what really excited me about this film is music. Especially the last chord. For me such unexpecting major ending strongly associates with Bach's "Art of Fuge". Enyone noticed it or am i the only one who did? Enyway, i just had to share this with someone, because all my friends dont even know what the chord is.

Upon hearing your description of him. I think Thanos' comic self is better, in terms of personality, than the cinematic version.
In a way, the comic version is like Rick Sanchez. He sees no point in existence. So, he decides to wipe it out for "the greater good. But in the end, his entire worldview is changed.
Seems better than a being who's out to save the universe from overpopulation
