This video is a *perfect* way to promote the TCG. I think people forget that they are not *just* rare collectible cards. It's a game. A pretty awesome one, in fact.
Agreed was just thinking the same thing! Ive been playing the actual game a lot more, we just kinda carefully shuffle toploaders lol and use full toploader sets, so we can keep the integrity of the game and not risk any damage
@@Yolorub_vids i started collecting a few years ago too, and id say about a year ago i gave the game a shot. ive only played the online game but i assume its a great way to start playing the game. all the code cards you get in a booster pack gives you a pack on the online game

Ok so I’ve got to say, that was the single most informative, educational and amazing piece of Pokémon content I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. Thanks so much for putting this together and thanks to Ray and Dylan for their kindness. This has further ignited my love of Pokémon Cards (like I even needed any more fire) I literally had no idea that there were cards like that out there!! Thanks dude, epic video!

Huge hits! Best mystery box, nice job everyone involved great to see all the support. So much info, it was a great glimpse into another side of the Pokémon world!
Can we all just appreciate and recognize that these guys were actually true Pokémon champions❓🤯 I mean they had to accumulate a set amount of points before being eligible for an invitation to tournaments❗️❤️🔥🙌🏼 Mindblowing❗️❤️🔥💫✨✨
To date this is the most epic mystery box I have ever seen on RUclips. Is definitely an honor and a privilege for you to be a part of that. Dylan and Ray did an amazing job putting this together, a view to the TCG. Great job Pat!
Didnt know your channel but this video was recommended by youtube, its quite the trip down memory lane, especially the Vancouver worlds which was the first non-US based worlds event (location is close to the TPCi office in Seattle in case of emergency) and I was the masters HJ for the event. I absolutely adored the mystery numbered bag system with the cards detailing every step a player takes to get to the very top, youve absolutely earned my sub today good sir.

Best pokemon video I've seen in a while. So nice to see an actual collector just enjoying the cards sharing history and not focusing on the prices only
As someone who's always been into Pokémon, but never the tcg until recently... It was amazing seeing this history. There are cards here I'd love to obtain in my collection some day but more importantly... Just wow. That history of the championships, the related promos and reasons for them... The sentiment went behind putting this together was not lost, as it wasn't the value of the cards here that spoke out (even if they ARE huge... I don't know personally. Still new and don't know big cards. Besides everyone going ballistic over some weird orange dragon) but the history behind the items themselves... Congrats to the two of them, the project was very much a success!
I am a Yugioh player but I literally love your channel so much. Your production quality is next level, the format is awesome, and your genuine take on things is awesome. Keep up the great work!!!
And you get to keep this stuff!?!? If so wow best $5k ever spent..... what a video...what a collection... what a story.... amazing stuff.... as always 👏!!! ❤️
That is an amazing Mystery box! Please make collectors aware that 99% of mystery boxes are not like that! This is a significant collection all on its own.
Love Mystery Box videos! Edit: This box is incredible! I've never seen or heard of some these cards before and the holo foils on some were really cool to see. Thank you Ray and Dylan!
Pat thank you so much for sharing these exclusive cards. That was so cool to see Ray and Dylan essentially give us fans a sneak peak in the competition and organized play. It makes you appreciate the time and effort and grind and dedication it took for these true victors to obtain.
Hands down one of the best Mystery Boxes ever and gave us a walk down memory lane of the TCG. Love the video brother, editing and story telling second to none !
I’m way late but my gosh those are beautiful cards man thanks for sharing this with us, I have never seen anything this like this and big thanks to Ray and Dylan amazing guys!
Alright. This is super cool. My only hope is that Pat started focusing on playing more, of course when the events come back. Playing the game doesn't mean that you don't get to enjoy your favourite Pokemon, or Pokemon in general. I know a ton of people who collect and play simultaneously. I wish more people could get into playing, as it's soo much more fun that just ripping packs etc.
What an amazing ride from start to finish! Pat really came through with the promise of "best mystery box ever"! It really got my interest peaked to what kind of local competition there is to get into :D
wow, that trophy was sick :D so cool. but so many awesome cards us normal deadly people will never own or atleast win :D great video once more my friend and keep up the good work. me and my son loved this video of so many awesome rare cards :D PS: loved to see those pop packs. almost finished a complete sealed collection from 1 to 9 (just missing the 5 ofcourse)
Nothing like watching Pokémon videos at 2:30am. Such a nice journey Ray & Dylan took us on there. What made it special was not talking about the monetary value. I would say I've not seen 99% of those cards. 😂
These are just a whole other side of cards we don't see every day, makes me want to take action and go to a prerelease tournament! What an experience and nostalgia these cards probably hold.
This was awesome! Just as amazing as winning all of these goodies, it’s impressive how much thought the Pokémon company puts into creating these promo cards/items!! Lastly, when it comes to cards, there is no such things as catching Em all! Sorry!
I haven't played Pokemon in years, I grew up semi-well-off and never hurt for anything but never had a lot of people to play with. I remember when the show released, I would sit in front of the TV for hours, the adventures of the cast kept me mesmerized. My father was angry marine who struggled with substance abuse, and my mom left us early on. But Pokemon offered an escape, I wish so badly I had gotten the chance to have the tcg adventure as a child, seeing this box was great, it gave me a peer into a world I could never truly see
Beautiful Umbreon Wonderful display of the colourful history of the competitive scene! Looking like your Staff Collections looking pretty Thicck Pat! Congrats
funniest thing in this video: the small difference between players and collectors, at the end of the video taking out the cards from the binder, to put them in sleeves, just to go back in the binder :D :D
Damn youre a baller dude! I feel like a rich collector when I order like $500 of classic cards, and this man spends $5000 on a random box of goodies lol! I hear people say that 'youtubers get extra stuff to promote the product' and I dont know how all that works, I mean, thats not my business what sellers and streamers work out. But Pat even says 'they dont even sell mystery boxes' they are just hooking him up with a fun random box to educate players! So for anyone who says 'oh hes a streamer this box is better than what normal people could get' they can shove it! cause this was a great nostalgic box that can teach newer collectors and show some of the special edition tournament and pokemon league, prerelease, and some of the great events held over the years. Its not all about values and money, the pure love of Pokemon and card collecting means far more to me than that, and wow, what a great mashup of very uncommon finds!
Thanks TW! That’s exactly why I did it! Took some of the funds this channel has made so far and out it right back into it to use this platform for good!
