- In this video we take a look at the Fanta/Taeyoung series of levers ranging from the Fanta 29GN, Fujin V3, Kaze V3, and the original gangsta that is the Taeyeung Fanta. This one kind came out of the blue as I wasn't really set on making another round but I said why not since I have these levers currently in my possesion.

just wanted you guess to get a better idea of the throw range.

The Fujin has been updated, the B version has a slightly bigger shaft and a slightly less pronounced throw as a result.

It was updated, literally right around the time you posted this video actually. If anything was changed beyond the shaft (it's 0.8mm thicker, I believe) I haven't heard anything on it. ParadiseArcade has B Fujin III's in stock (everyone seems to overlook these, s'where I got mine) and I have no idea what the out of stock FA one was. A or B I mean. IST is selling B units by default too. So any Fujin III from IST or PA will be a B variant.

Is the IST knee lever or golden lever better than Fujin v3?

love the video, im using a 309 mj at the moment tried every grommet starting from the 25 and sticked to the 45 at the end, loving it but i just ordered a rox dragons knee lever it looks so good! and woud look absolutely sick on a qanba dragon fight stick

Get ready to spend more money, there's a new Crown 309 version that has blue and yellow battop options. I think it has Omron switches and a switch plate, but I'm not sure what else is different.

I'm loving how the latest Korean levers have standard JP style mounting plates. Makes it a bit easier when jumping into K levers.
They call it the Benylis lever and I pre-ordered it, should be coming this week. It comes with starion switches, smaller actuator, different core. Hopefully it's an upgrade from the base 309mj

6:00 the taeyoung uses the black etokki grommet not the ist which is lighter than 45a ist.
Thank you this really helped me choose what I need, subscribe. Any reason why the Korean style stick is so hard to find in the EU and maybe the US? I wanted to start with the Ettoki one for the first experience but you can not even find them on ebay.

I really enjoy your videos! I've always wanted a Korean stick and have been using a crown 309MJ ever since I saw you review it on the lever round up #1. Do you have any recommendations for pushbuttons? I'm currently using Sanwa but want to experiment more and I was thinking maybe the crown mechanical buttons.
The only thing with the Crown 202s are they aren't perfect. I know a few people who ordered, myself including, and just straight had a button stop working or act weird. Usually this is fixed by poppi g the button open and adjusting the contacts. Then their people who had no problems what so ever. Right now the Semitsu Keiko buttons are my buttons of choice.

I got the Otto diy v2 kit after your video, really enjoying it but want to try out a Korean stick with higher tensions. What would you recommend?
If your on the V2 Kit I assume your on a japanese fightstick. For a high tension lever I would just say a 309mj with a Blue tension grommet, if you have or willing to go with a 35mm I would say the myoungshin or Taeyoung.

Have you ever tried the MyoungShin Fanta Airbag, it’s a modified MyoungShin lever, it was on sale 2 years ago they might have stopped production on it since their update on the MyoungShin 2018 version
They stopped producing fanta airbag because the panasonic am5 microswitches are no longer produced.

Can the Taeyoung Fanta "Low Collar" be inserted in Razer Panthera EVO?
For shmups, bmups, platformers, and old school like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, use the following grommet--
32 or 35 for the Fujin.
30 or 35 for the Crown 300 series.
...and use the bigger end of the actuactor.
Oh, and you can swap the stock battop for the balltop.

Have you ever tried out the silent hayabusa parts?
I have a silent RAP V stick with both silent buttons and stick. It uses an optical sensor for the joystick and padded silent buttons. It feels pretty good but there is zero feedback because it's just a shaft without microswitches. The buttons feel great. I prefer the Sanwa JLF-TPRG-8BYT-SK silent joystick because it has silent microswitches and you have pretty good feedback. And the Sanwa is pretty much completely silent and the Hayabyusa silent stick makes all a little bit of sound from the gate.
What is your favourite k lever ?
Currently still on the Fujin V3, though I modded it alittle.
I use a 4lb lever on my sanwa what grommet should I get for my stick that'd be the most similar?
For fanta probably 35-45 range and for a crown a 35a would be the closest. It ranges tho because switches add alittle bit of tension aswell

Um no, lol. None stands atop any lever since it's really down to the player. Though the kaze battop is shit tbh lol
I have a question. What’s the reason to have a collar on a lever vs no collar?
Full collar allows for longer throw and serves a circular restrictor gate essentially. Short collars are pretty much mini version all around with a shorter throw and overall smaller area to work in. As for the collar less levers I don't personally have experience with them yet but I ordered the Roxx Dragon Lever to try out myself .
Alex Nostalgix I don’t know if it’s too much to ask but do you think you can do like a break down videos of lever parts and what they do? Such as shafts being smaller or bigger and what are the benefits of each. Same with collars, switch’s, actuators etc. Definitely love your videos regardless, very informative. Keep it up!

I've read comments of Korean Lever players saying that once they tried the square gates on the Sanwas Seimitsus or wanbas they're never going back to Korean levers, they're overrated. Is that true?
Best lever for kazuya?
There is none. Mainman Swe is a great Kazuya player and still rocks a JLF but compared to Quadans or even JDCR they play on K-levers. It's not about the lever its about what your most comfortable playing on.
