- it is hard to believe that it has been 5 years since i helped out the fancy dash 8 airplane that usually flies around central Africa but was at the end of the world. it was one big gong show but we handled it all for the 4 days while these guest had the worst fishing trip of their lives at the fishing lodge. oh well i made new friends that had seen me on the nation TV show Ice Road Truckers which was my 15 seconds of fame. at the making of this video the fancy plane is still flying and looking good from what i seen on a quick google search over in Africa. the staff showed up and it took 3 pieces of obsolete equipment to get the grader frame back on to the rear end. plus the staff did a little dirt gathering for her house. thansk

Have to leave my testimonial publicly here: spent my Monday on a Sunday working hard on smthg which was critical and long overdue. Started it listening to Joe’s “work hard” song (Radar Love, by White Lion). I confess I struggle with things more than normal, but today by the end of the day I had it all figured out, loose ends put away too. Ending my day now thinking of Joey once again today, because I just FOUND a big “missing piece” ready to use (just like his hydraulic parts for Gomezz). Gotta step up and get it done, fellows. yes you living at Cape Cod will see your fair share of people with good credit cards and such. the town of WHO-ville only has to be nice and offer customer service but they seem to go out of their way to make everyone life hard and difficult for some reason. thansk

I’m really enjoying the grader videos. I’m into old iron and saving it is a good thing. Pretty impressed with the staff jumping right in there. I’ve seen a lot of folks with no where near the gumption and know how as she has. You brought her up right.

Alaska flag should be on its way Monday or Tuesday. If there is a power transmission outfit in Winnipeg, maybe Sir Rodney can find those sprocket parts you need, already to go. Those parts look very much like the components of a coupler. If so, they are probably available all together as a unit. I’ll have to watch the video again. Take care.

That stye of coupler was used on John Deere combine header coupler about 1990
it appears to be a very common coupler and will be easy to find,,, i hope thansk

Cleaned the vacuum after vacuuming the whole freakin house wife washed dog and cat blankets and I also cut the weeds no grass been to dry here in Ohio and fixed bacon and eggs for breakfast.

O.K. You have a coupler assembly, but on the loose half there on the table, instead of the hub fitting a shaft with a keyway, you want the hub to have a female 6 spline configuration to fit on a male 6 spline shaft. I think the sprockets are flat because the chain is always in one place relative to the sprockets, making the long teeth unnecessary. Better tell Sir Rodney what the hub configuration on the other sprocket is, because it may be easier and more cost effective to get the coupler you need, rather than a bunch of parts,pieces. Anyway, good luck and just be polite to the parts folks, and somehow what you need will appear. Take care.
yes last night doing google searches and came up with what Sir Rodney needs to find for us. very simple and easy so it will make the orbit motor easy to hook up thansk

Thats a large washer. Amazon has them for stupid money ~35mm x 48mm x 2mm, one for 18 bucks coming on the slow boat from overseas. Might as well cut your own for that price. No doubt Sir Rodney can get them locally if not direct considering his shop does hydraulics. Might also want to explore bonded sealing washers (aka dowty seal) way over kill, but whatever you can find.
yes we found them to be very pricey and since we have no budget for expensive washer we are still looking for a cheaper source. fixing customers item and buy the best is what has given Westrans their name for quality repairs. thansk
