- Welcome back everyone, I've just taken a risk and bought this beautiful car from British Car Auctions with a few faults!
You can't see the cars prior to bidding anymore so I took a gamble and bought this Manual E92 M3. I fancied a car project to tackle and share with all of you so this had to be the one!

GET A WARM UP ROUTINE!!! Do not rev past 3K until the “Oil OK” is alight! Then as Prince would say: Let’s Go Crazy! 😂! Congrats. Enjoy 🎉. You’re going to need to get the Bearings addressed, when doing so replace the motor mounts, that would account for the vibration, IMHO 👍🏾😊. Congrats Mate. Welcome to the Club 😊

Engine vibration will probably come back when everything is upto temp so engine mounts probably shot. Definitely lowered and has an exhaust back box mod. Engine light and other fault can be caused by low battery voltage so a good run to charge it may sort it.
Thanks for the advice. I think you could be correct with the battery as the light hasn’t come back on since. Going to do the actuators anyway 😎

Judging by MOT history it shud be spot on , and low mileage 🤔🤔
Mot isn’t a very good way of showing true mileage as it can be adjusted between mot’s! It’s a bit of a minefield out there.

I had eml light on my e92 325 , it would go off after restarting the engine and the vibration would go away and the light, could be a common problem??
Could be…I’m thinking it could be throttle actuators from some Google re search…

I just bought my e92 M3 (manual) last weekend with only 17k miles👌🏻 It’s definitely going to be a keeper. What’s your plans with this one?
Awesome! That sounds like a brand new car!! I’m going to give it a deep clean, polish, a complete going over to make it immaculate, alcantara wheel and probably some mechanical fixes once it’s been plugged in and all faults read! How about you?
