Good and detail teaching of protection feature... Thank you.
Asus could have created links where users can click from the SCAN in protection tables... Instead of closing the SCAN table and hunt for the features to enable.

Hi thanks for creating this. Under firewall you skipped some important things that we should know but dont. On the systems tab, under Basic Config what is the “auto logout” 30 minutes? (Ive only just discovered it following your tutorial, so I changed it to 0. Which I hope means disable) as my connection keeps dropping out and I hope this resolves that? (I also enabled DOS protection as that was off, so thanks for that) Under service my enable ssh was no yours is LAN only and SSH Port is 22. Can you please elaborate? Thank you for trying to stop saying “rooter” as much as well, even in NZ it still means something else…

Is trend micro reliable and in 2022 how aiprotection pro works ? And should i go for it ? Did they improve that weak points which you tested in your previous aiprotection test video?

The one issue where you are on the internet and download something via https (SSL) it still will not be able to scan anything or stop it. But the detection of devices which may be infected on your LAN (home network) and dial out has been upgraded. I still personally feel the benefit of having it on is still worth it. But have antivirus on my pc still.

@@mrwho4122 trend micro is in the router so you don't need virus app anymore on phones or laptops. Only use a free virus app like sophos. It's enough

The AIProtection Alert Preference email feature doesn’t work on my Asus router. Entered my gmail address and app password and never receive any email when malicious websites are detected.

Put your WiFi devices on the guest WiFi. Then it's extra protected.
