@StetsonDW apply a loose powder below your eyes to "catch" fall out. When your makeup is done sweep it away- Just an old drag trick I had lying around.
@bxdavila it can make it more venerable to creasing and if you are really crease prone, use Ben Nye liquid set: it wears like iron, but it can make blending out the edge a bit more difficult. Also you'll need to wash you brush right after, or it will harden.
@Letta510 you could use several different types of products to get a similar effect, example: use a black on the lid with a sparkly purple over it. Use a sparkly dark purple etc...just use what you have or what you like.
i have that same crease brush and omg i love it so much and the same thing happened to my hazel eyes mascara, the stopper thing got pulled out and it was stuck in the cap so there was nothing stopping a ton of mascara from coming out of the tube. i just closed it as tight as i possibly could without breaking it and it went back idk
@kimberd03 I used to think that too. I have a really old tutorial I did of a smoky eye and I cringe when I look at it. But it's all a learning process, and a smoky eye is a great look to have in your arsenal, so don't let anything hold you back.
@IFireandIce Honestly, just tightlining and skipping eyeliner on the lid is great for "less lid space" also I did a SUPER thin strip of liner, that works well too.
@texastechchic I don't have all the pigments but I have dupes. honestly you could use push the edge and then pat young punk over it for this look, and replace sketch with brash and bold. As for melon, you could rock that on the lower lid with push the edge in the crease or brash and bold or both!
I have a really hard time finding make up tutorials that would look similar on my eyes as they do in the videos because of how my lids are. Thank goodness you & I have the same fold going on & I love, love, love your tutorials. Finally something I can do on myself and have it be a pretty close match!
@envygeeksgirl hm, that seems to be a concern lately. It you have a well made brush that shouldn't be a problem, but you could also flick it with your finger. Also sometimes I think I bang off too much color.
Finally a great tutorial for this eye shadows! love love love it!.. I will definitely wear this look this weekend when i go for a girls' night out... Thanks!
Omg this is so beautiful I love love love this look I'm going to pick this shadow color up I hope my local mac counter has this shade. Thank for sharing!!!!
AH MAY ZING look Cora! I love love love dark smokey purply eyes and this just totally rocks. I was dreading trying to find this collection but this look convinced me I need to jump in and find it anyway. lol Really really really gorgeous look! Thanks for sharing!
@cascadestars yeah a little bit of that happened with my green one, but not the separating. I close them all really tight, but I guess maybe I rushed with it once.
So, you have awesome hair. You have gorgeous blue eyes and skin that I envy. And your makeup ALWAYS looks amazing. But my favorite thing about you, hands down, is your personality. Thanks for being you! You rock it so well, ma'am :)
i love your videos! you're GREAT at explaining things! i feel like some gurus sort of expect veiwers to know exactly what to do, and i just love how you explain exactly where to place everything! ps, you were the first beauty guru i ever subscribed to :P
I love love love your tutorials! I still don't think I can do a smoky eye no matter how many times I watch though. Plus I have hooded eyelids so it just never looks right. This color is gorgeous on you!
i watch every single one of your videos and absolutely love all of them. you're a huge inspiration to me and you're the reason i love and take risks with makeup. never stop making videos, you're beautiful and talented! :)
the elf transformer is great! i use the orange/yellow to clean up mess ups and i use the other colors to create colored eyeliner. i love this look that you've done :)
Love this look! I'll try it ASAP !! Every time I use one of your looks I get so many compliments they always wonder about my improved skills in applying make up they can't believe that watching YT vids HELPS !! Thanks for the mascara tip It REALLY helped and for being here in YT:)
This is the first video of yours I've ever watched, and OH MY GOODNESS I just fell in love with your cuteness and your adorable personality. Your makeup is fantastic and you're just so sweet and down to earth. Idk how I didn't find you before, but I'm glad I did now. Thanks for being fabulous! :]
@parasitegod I probably wouldn't pay $28 for the Trucco Palette, but the ELF one isn't nearly as nice- BUT it will work. If you REALLY love duo-chromes and want ones that are really nice, and have the $28- then the Trucco palette is worth it. I paid $20 for mine and never looked back.
@TessaStyle thanks dahling! it is always nice to get such a lovely compliment!
WOW they make your eyes SERIOUSLY POP! absolutely GORGEOUS!
@Kimmy61589 nice! I love that you're planning on tailor-making this for yourself with makeup you have!
@StetsonDW apply a loose powder below your eyes to "catch" fall out. When your makeup is done sweep it away- Just an old drag trick I had lying around.
@faytth36 thanks! Purple tends to bring out the green in them.
@SunsetDancer41288 me too! I used to avoid smoky eye but now I can't get enough.
@bxdavila it can make it more venerable to creasing and if you are really crease prone, use Ben Nye liquid set: it wears like iron, but it can make blending out the edge a bit more difficult. Also you'll need to wash you brush right after, or it will harden.

@MzJenx0r lol! I love that phrase, it's the perfect what to describe where to put the color and what to do with it.
i have that same crease brush and omg i love it so much
and the same thing happened to my hazel eyes mascara, the stopper thing got pulled out and it was stuck in the cap so there was nothing stopping a ton of mascara from coming out of the tube. i just closed it as tight as i possibly could without breaking it and it went back idk

@IFireandIce Honestly, just tightlining and skipping eyeliner on the lid is great for "less lid space" also I did a SUPER thin strip of liner, that works well too.
@itswesbitch yup yup! That's why I love the Mineralze eyeshadows, you have the option to go sheer (dry) or intense (wet)
@texastechchic I don't have all the pigments but I have dupes. honestly you could use push the edge and then pat young punk over it for this look, and replace sketch with brash and bold. As for melon, you could rock that on the lower lid with push the edge in the crease or brash and bold or both!
@p00kiepancake probably not. I used to really dislike smoky on me and now I love it!

Also sometimes I think I bang off too much color.

i love your videos! you're GREAT at explaining things! i feel like some gurus sort of expect veiwers to know exactly what to do, and i just love how you explain exactly where to place everything!
ps, you were the first beauty guru i ever subscribed to :P
