The arched back is to give it a more full sound. There is no bracing on the back that way it sounds like a full-size guitar or at least it’s close to one as it can get. And the fingerboard is Ebony.
I already own a GS Mini Mahogany model but have wanted one with the built in pickup. I'm sol. This is one of the few guitars I've heard that actually sounds like the guitar when it's plugged in. I can stand that piezo sound most other acoustics have. Thanks.

Thanks. I shut off my furnace for the video. You can definitely hear my chair creaking the whole video. I used my focusright condenser and audio Technica at2020 condenser mics and just tried to keep the gain on the happy medium place.
Being such a small bodied guitar, I never expected it to have the full bodied warmth of a larger instrument, combined with the fact that Taylor's are always quite bright sounding, it is actually a little mellower than expected, especially after breaking in the strings a little bit. It has quickly become my go to, acoustic guitar.

Does it feel similar to an electric guitar as far as width and playability? I have short fingers so I’m hoping it’s similar to my Fender tele. Take care man
It's sound is not only too "bright" (despite of the mahogany top) but also too "metallic" and hollow (half way between the regular wooden body and the metal body). At first I thought something's wrong with my audio setup (I have a stereo amp with a pair of studio-monitor loudspeakers connected to my PC's audio out ), but now I'm sure: even the Harley Benton's Traveler E sounds "warmer" and "woodier".

I`ve had mine for 9 years and love it. Played it every day and wore out the first few frets. Ordered a new one. Should get it tomorrow.
I've got the GS mini mahogany and its excellent! The wood grain on this one is brilliant. Looks more like a KOA grain.

Anthem SL pick up is great for this guitar. Have a mahogany with this pick up installed. Has an internal mic and an under bridge pickup.

but...between us, did you expected a more mellow sound? i like this guitar but im concerned about how warm it sounds.
