@@truthnow902 you sin every day. You live in sin. God says if you don't follow his commands *PERFECTLY* that you break the entire law. You clearly are not perfect, so God says you break the entire law. You had better hope there is free grace, because you're screwed buddy. Your works will not impress Jesus.

The law was given so that sin would increase. This verse pierces the vanity of man. Do you think you're sin is decreased by the law. The law shows me Gods perfect holiness in the law as shown in Jesus Christ. And I am slain. So as to demostrate his mercy and grace the law was given and because of the weakness of my flesh, my sin abounds. Thanks be to God that the treasury of Grace is inexhaustible.

Define "works".
Does baptism = works?
Does praying without ceasing = works?
Does preaching the gospel = works?
Does fellowshipping with your brethren in Christ = works?
Oh boy. You are going to get serious pushback on this. Most of Christianity today is totally Galationized. They are going to flip when they hear this.
Misusing the true standard of the law for Christian living, leads to living in a range of sins.

@@scottsinger273 The Spirit draws believers toward holiness, yes. But a believer has a choice. Corinth proves that. We are saved by faith and by faith alone. Not by our behavior. You folks really need to get this through your head. You do not contribute a single solitary thing to your salvation. It’s all Christ. Period. I know this offends religious people. That’s why they put Him on that cross. Don’t be like them.

Eph. 6:1-4 Paul preaching Gods commands or law that promise, promise that things will go well if they are obeyed.
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise), “that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.” Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Actually it's good that you brought this up because I don't see anybody on RUclips talking about following the law, Jesus specifically says I am the way the truth and the life no one goes to the father but through him it's not complicated, we know that Jesus is the only way Jesus came to fulfill the law so we are to follow Jesus like he says take up your cross deny yourself everyday the walking righteousness like him!!! Not complicated at all he says anybody who loves me will obey me !!! And of course you're preaching that we don't have to be obedient which again this is not biblical he wants us to be obedient and the way that we show him that we love him is to be obedient you probably just missed that verse !!! So are we supposed to take up our cross and walk with Jesus of course are we supposed to be obedient to the Lord of course are we supposed to fear the lord of course!!!!! This is way too easy it's all in the Bible but again if you don't read the whole Bible you're definitely not going to get the whole truth if you just going to take parts of context out of the Bible then you're not going to understand it as a whole, and that is where the deception from the Devil comes and to deceive us!!! So my dad's advice is for you guys to read your Bible the whole Bible not just verses cuz you guys do have knowledge but there is stuff that is missing because you don't have all the knowledge and when you don't have all the knowledge you don't have all the truth!!!! Keep studying never give up you keep seeking the truth you will find it!!!!
Sounds like you are trusting yourself to get to heven.We should be careful to maintain the schoolmaster of the law,nothing to do with salvation.These guys has the knowledge of the word.
@@garithstelly9145 I definitely agree these guys have some knowledge, but they're picking and choosing versus out of context to try to prove their point that's a big no no this is why we are told to read the whole Bible that's the only way we're going to get the whole truth!! I don't know how you're getting that but I believe in myself for salvation I believe Jesus is the way the truth and the life Jesus is the only way back to the father he makes this very clear I've told you I follow the word of God Jesus says he's the way he's the way I don't argue that at all I do not deny this Jesus died for all of our sins without him we can never make it back to the father totally 100% impossible it has nothing to do with me at all!!! So I'm not sure how you're coming up with this.
@truthnow902 Sound like you not understanding verses with other verses?We saved by faith lone.A man that works not his faith is counted for righterness.Man's faith justifies the ungodly and is counted righterness without the law.For no1 to boast about salvation.If you think your works has anything to do with your salvation,you are trusting yourself who is a sinner and not giving our savior all the credit.OSOS we SHOULD do good works.God will correct his children,like Good parents with their children out of love.It is not about yourself to prove yourself with works to not go to hell.If you think it is you will go there

You need to re- read the post you are replying to, you have this works salvation stuck in your head, that is not what the post stated. He has stated more than once that He is trusting in Christ alone not in his works for Salvation.
Say what you actually believe Theocast/Reformed Theology purveyors "It's by grace... ONLY FOR THE PRE-CHOSEN ELECT. ALL OTHERS/THE UNELECT, TOO BAD. THEY WILL GET THE WRATH THEY DESERVE". (What did I put, that isn't so?)
It's sad that you have to add Reformed theology to biblical truths for you to hear and believe what these beloved Brothers teach. I am not Reformed and I find their understanding of scripture to be spot on.

@@lai7527 These beloved brothers have boldly admitted to following Reformed Theology... which is far from biblical. I don't know if they are sincere (thinking it's consistent with scripture) or sincerely bamboozled? They are self admitted Calvinists/Reformed...why is my pointing it out wrong? They have called themselves that numerous times.

If you listen to their video on the Gospel, they are spot on. I had a non-reformed commentor recommend them. Honestly, if many of the Calvinists believed the Gospel as these pastors teach, then we will see some or many of them in heaven. These guys don't preach that Calvinism is the Gospel. They are more focused on the Gospel, zero Lordship salvation, and teaching truth. If you read some of the comments, you'll notice that the diehard Calvinists do not like what these pastors teach. If churches would stick to teaching the Gospel without works and focus more on grace, they'd be able to lead more to Christ. Trust me, I was guarded when I listened to them too but I have not heard the Reformed theology defended. At least not yet.

Guys. Paul is talking about the Law of Moses. Not the commandments of Jesus. The purpose of Galatians is to teach that justification is not by the works of the Mosaic Law. The contrast Paul makes is between faith and Mosaic Law, circumcision in particular. But of course faith in Jesus includes and involves obedience to Jesus. What matters is faith WORKING through love. If there is no obedience to Christ, there IS no faith. Obeying Jesus is not "finishing with the flesh." But getting circumcised and returning to Old Covenant regulations... THAT would be finishing with the flesh. God help us all.
@@thomasalbinholmes2538 the commandments of Jesus are found in 1 John 3. You don’t get to make up your own. Believe and love.
@@medic4christ777 the commandments of Jesus can be summed up in that way. But Jesus unpacks what it looks like to love God and neighbor in places like the sermon on the mount/plain. For example, he commands us not to store up wealth for ourselves and to sell possessions and give to the poor. That is a command which the new covenant church took extremely seriously in the beginning.
I think we like to keep obedience vague so that we will not be too challenged. If we just say that obedience is to love God and neighbor, but refuse to look at what Jesus says that looks like practically, then we can protect ourselves from having to lose our lives for Jesus and our neighbor.

I just want to agree with your assessment of Theocast teaching. It’s like the Israelites, waiting outside the promised land, they would say they were Gods people but only two of them were ready to believe in Gods promises and be obedient. The rest made excuses why they shouldn’t, safety and security has been a hindrance to many, we can make disobedience sound godly. Thus the willingness to abdicate Christian responsibility, and embrace a culture of victimhood. We must obey the 11th Commandment , BE NICE!
