Chicken Parmesan Recipe
8 Chicken cutlets, thinly sliced
4 Eggs
4 Cups Breadcrumbs
3 Cloves Garlic, crushed
¼ Cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
1 Cup Parmesan cheese, grated
8 - ¼” slices Fresh Mozzarella
Salt
Black pepper
¾ Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 Cups Fresh Tomato Sauce, *see link for recipe

• Place breadcrumbs in a deep dish
• In a bowl, whisk eggs, crushed garlic, salt, pepper, chopped parsley and grated parmesan cheese and mix well
• Dip chicken cutlets in the egg mixture
• Dredge each cutlet in the breadcrumbs making sure to completely cover each cutlet
• In a frying pan, heat olive oil on medium to high heat and fry breaded cutlets appx 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown
• Remove cutlets and place on a dish lined with paper towels to drain the excess oil
• Ladle tomato sauce on the bottom of a casserole pan and place cutlet on top sprinkling with parmesan cheese and mozzarella
• Arrange remaining cutlets and repeat sprinkling with parmesan cheese and mozzarella
• Once all chicken cutlets are in casserole pan, cover with remaining tomato sauce and be sure to spread sauce in between the cutlets. Then add more parmesan cheese over the top
• In a preheated oven at 350 degrees, bake 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and sauce bubbling

Power Couple Hoboken Style...is certainly Right. Loved this video Lisa, I needed a good Italian Recipe for Chicken Parmigiano and I will be trying this soon. Bzillion years ago I made my own Pasta Sauce and did pretty good. Good enough for my Italian Hubby to really like it. Then out came Prego...that did it. Buying that ever since. Even my Grown Son asked me not too long ago "Mom can't you learn how to make Pasta Sauce?"...I just laughed and laughed. I told him he was raised on my Homemade Pasta Sauce, then the easy jar stuff came out, saves me lots of time. As a full time working Mom I needed time savers. OK so I will try your Homemade Pasta Sauce as well for the Chicken Parm. Thank you. We have been devout followers for CakeBoss for so many years. I love watching the Family and the antics that Buddy bestows upon them...LOL so much love. I did Subscribe, and of course you got thumbs up. I cannot understand how any person could ever give thumbs down...Ignore those stupid people. No one needs them.

Buddy (her husband, aka the cake boss) used to have his own cooking show on tv several years ago, called ‘kitchen boss’ ..it was really awesome.
Very low key (unlike the cake boss show) and he cooked authentic dishes he grew up eating. It’s worth looking up on RUclips and watching.

Best recipe! I tried this today for the first time and it was soo good. I highly recommend what she said for seasoning every layer. For the breadcrumbs I added grated Parmesan, parsley, and salt/pepper. So good
Serve it with a side of crusty Italian bread or spaghetti or both
If I ever get the chance to travel to the U.S. one of my dreams is to visit Carlos Bakery, ever since I started watching Cake Boss. Now at least I can try making these recipes at home 😍

Hello I wanted to say that I love your videos and I think your family is absolutely amazing. Coming from an Italian family,watching your recipes reminds me so much of my Nana that I miss so much. There is a recipe that I’ve been wanting you to make but I’m not sure if you know the recipe for it or if you’ve heard of it before but it’s called Italian spinges.. From what I know.. it’s made out of cooked cauliflower, eggs, Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, and seasonings. It’s mixed until It gets to a batter and I think flour might be in it but not sure but it’s like fried little Patties. when it’s done.. Parmesan cheese goes on top of it. It’s so good! My Nana would make them all the time when growing up. My aunt owned an Italian restaurant sadly they both died 10 months apart due to cancer & my nana from Mersa. Watching all your videos especially cake boss with all Italian cookies brings back so many memories.
But I don’t know if there is a special name for them? I just know them as Italian spinges lol. so please let me know when you have a chance 😊 Many Blessings, Leanna B.

Lisa I made your chicken parm. By far the BEST chicken parm I ever made. I was wondering when I breaded the chicken and did not use flour. They are the best breaded chicken cutlets I have ever made.

This dish is so an italian classic that I live in Italy since 49 years and I never had it and don't know anyone who had it. And you know why? Because in the authentic italian version we eat it covered with half gallon of shrimp alfredo sauce!
