Amazing that in the 1970s guys were bringing in DIY recording systems that have preserved the music beautifully.

Wrigley shows were hot! Too bad the band is hanging it up.

Say what you want, but John Mayer is an inspired choice to keep Jerry's memory alive, both musically and vocally. Just like Ian Astbury covering the The Doors, 2000.

People just having full on conversations during the music. Freaking hate that.

I'm sure they're insightful, well educated political/socio economic discussions related solely to the Grateful Dead and are kept to an unobtrusive volume so as not to disturb other's enjoyment of the music...you know..those guys on stage on their last wobbly legs that they paid to listen to. Otherwise, it would be extremely childish, disrespectful, selfish and rude.

Yes, one of my biggest pet peeves nowadays. Back when Jerry was alive there was a new graduating class of deadheads every year that would learn the proper dead show etiquette. Then 20 years went by with no graduating class. The etiquette was lost. We used to be professional concert goers. Now I would rather live stream the show.

I think the festival vibe is different than a regular show. Its a hangout.
