I came to this video because I was facing the same problem. Did the force reset multiple times but to no avail. Still having flashing apple logo during charging and black screen when off the charger. Very frustrating. Your video is very comprehensive in dismantling the components. But my guess is that you happened to fix the problem not by actually cleaning off the dirt from the push button slot, but rather disconnecting the battery from the circuit board. This cleared the RAM that might be the solution in fixing the issue. My watch came back up by me doing nothing. I just left it aside for a few days to let the battery fully drained. On charging, the watch is fully restored.

Yep im so agree.. i tried to drained out the battery till it dead (till press button did not pop up any charging instruction)
But not lucky enough. Happen again when I start to charge it..

is the battery contact secured in the watch in any way? or is it just affixed with adhesive? does it go back in easily?
