Places for Breathing is still one of my favorite albums, and I was SOO excited when they put out this single, in hopes of a new album. This is still one of my favorite songs!
What a shame. Revis was a band that should’ve been multi-Grammy award winning. PFB is absolutely one of my ALL TIME favorite albums. Not only is the songwriting top notch, the vocals, harmonies & musicianship unbelievable, the production was uncannily incredible. To this day, it sounds better than 99% of what’s out today. What a devastatingly badass band & recording!!!
Today, this randomly played in one of my Spotify playlists and I didn't know the song or the band. Needless to say, I can't get enough of the song now!
I remember when I first discovered Revis (before going through PFB, masterpiece) with "Caught in The Rain" inside the soundtrack of "Daredevil". The OST in that movie was epic, bands like Seether, Nickelback, Saliva, 12 Stones, Evanescence, Fuel and of course Revis. I still feel sad when I remember they broke up...
@RevisRock If you could come tour in Europe... I guess that's pretty far-fetched, but consider it PLEASE! Hopefully your music one day becomes listened to by more people worldwide. You really deserve it.
"SUPER excited" and now look 2years or 2 and a half have now gone.. I was sooo excited about this new album but nope now no one is ever going to hear the 2nd full album by Revis which is a huge shame i still have my Revis sticker i ordered proudly up but wish i could hear the 2nd album one day! Especially for all of us that have waited so long :(
I am super excited for this. I remember being in highschool when you guys first released Places for Breathing. I memorized all of those songs and I still know them by heart. Once you come out with this next cd I'll have to do exactly the same! I can't wait!

I recently found Justin Holman on Facebook and relayed to him just how much I appreciated Revis's music. He responded with a gracious thank you, and then mentioned that he's releasing a Christian rock album. Ah well.
I went to school with them, most of them are still in California, Justin returned home, and is a very active member of his Church, and still recording music, only yea, Christian. I'll never forget when they played for our Senior year talent show .. and everyone was so shocked.. no one had a clue ANY of them played instruments, or that Justin could sing! They won of course! Wish they had put out a 2nd album too. Straight Jacket Labels and Seven my favs.
Years ago, I took an insanely hot girl onour 1st date, trying to impress her I took us to the Capital Grill for dinner, followed by some hang time at a trendy Galleria, and finally to a nightclub to see her fav.band:Fuel who were red hot at the time and 2 openers, 1 of which was Revis. The two of us stayed together about as long as Revis took to breakup (not long) but we at least agreed that Revis blew everyone away...it was still 1 of the best nights ever,thanks to Revis!!
im glad i could manage to get their first album somehow cuz they are not close to being famous in my country so that was a tricky one. so thats maybe a reason this bands dont create songs often
I love Revis and I have to admit that this album does not sound like REvis at all, sorry but this sounds very fake and commercial, nothing special here, Places for Breathing was and is one of the best albums ever made and always will be, but it's very hard to have that sound and be mainstream so I can tell that Revis went mainstream and I don't like it at all sorry Revis lol ;)
