I heard it off of the Daredevil soundtrack, and even though that was an awesome movie, Daredevil is a great character that represents the tenacity I think we should all have. Artists that had that fresh look and sound Avril Lavigne with Complicated or New Found Glory with My Friends Over You. Memories!!!!! Anyone agree????
Man this album was like stumbling onto a meteor in a field, only one Ever produced and none the same ever again. Will always listen to it, even if I make it to 98. Phenomenal!!!
This album is one of my favorite of all time. In my opinion, it's the perfect album. Amazing vocals and lyrics, perfect amount of distortion/clean guitar balance. Wish their second album would have come out.
2019 and still jamming to it. Man 2000-2003 best time in music. That music is incomparable. Were we could rockout to songs in a car eating airheads. Now everyone be on their airpods ignoring each other. We need to go back!
I discovered this track, not on the radio or MTV, but on the demo video they played on the TV wall while working at Target in 2003. Hair down to my ass, dyed black, baggy-ass jeans and skater shoes. Working overnights, whenever this came up in the rotation I would crank the stereos up to the point where you could hear it through the entire store and I would rock the fuck out. Eventually a quiet part would come along and I'd finally hear that the electronics dept phone was ringing off the hook, the manager on the other end screaming at me to turn it the hell down. Every night with this shit until they finally got the updated dvds and Revis was no more. Good times. Miss those days...
"Revis Lead Guitarist", Robert Davis' New Band..."Animal Waves"... Band: Robert Davis - Vocals/ Guitar Charles Salvaggio - Bass Matt Zavorski - Drums From time to time, Nathaniel Cox, may work in complilation with Robert behind the scenes.
What raw energy from such young guys, amazing songs. After all these years I still find it hard to find a match to their energy, they kick it or they send it high and far.
I've owned this album since 2003 on cd and it gets played about 30 times a year. It just sits in the car cd player Even after all this time I still absolutely love it.
Served in Afghanistan in 2005, at a remote outpost. Met a beautiful, impressive, exceptional Royal Dutch Medic supporting the Dutch Marines who rolled with us for a few OPS. Things went as far as they could go for her and I in a place like that then even off the map sheet. Somehow in all that, this song got thrown in the mix....that place, that time, that girl, this damn song... never did get over her, just walked it in with the limp from then to this day. Life moves on for all of us, as it should, but sometimes you meet THAT one, hear THAT song, in THAT place, during THAT time and all your left with are a few pictures a patch or two, and memories you cant pressure wash out of your damn head, This damn song has been an anthem of the high water mark in life I have never surpassed nor replicated...., in the most dangerous and worst place in the world to meet that one game changer in your life... As we go through our adult years, sadly, we burn through people. However that ONE, that ONE that bears NO FEELING like it compared to anyone else, That ONE that made you feel 2 feet taller than you were and never have been since. I think we only get the ONE, IF WE ARE LUCKY to find them. Damit I found my ONE, stayed connected, she is there with hers, I'm here with mine..... But THAT time, THAT place, THAT song, THAT GIRL, me being THAT GUY.....Well, just a damn epic story. But that ending wasnt good enough for me. See it, believe it, then action it! 14 yrs later.......I just married her today! Impossible is a weak ass word, and to be honest, I dont think very much of it....
I heard this song on a free cd from best buy. I pride myself at my age[62] to find good rock and roll music that doesn't get enough play for most people to hear. Great lyrics.CCCCCCC
Guys, if you are still there, thank you for your music. It rocked the living hell. And the intro, how the rain starts, with a rapid small drops, then the thunder, and then it pours down. I got it.
+ᅚ ᅚ ᅚ Why? lol songs such as those are expendable. People only care about it for a year, then they move on to new things. Now bands like this even after all these years, their album is still freaking awesome to listen to. Plus, I value artists that actually create their own music and are true musicians, such as this band. Bieber and Swift make music for money, actually, they don't even write most of the songs they sing. I'm not a hater of pop music, Michael Jackson's songs after all these years are still awesome to listen to. The thing is, back in the day real musicians had more opportunity in the music industry... if this band had come out in the 90's they would've lasted longer.
OMG, saw them in SC in DEC 2003 live; and they were touring with Fuel, and WOW, they REALLY ROCKED IT! IMO, Totally stole the show.. ^^. So, I bought a copy of both bands Album CD's though; and to this day, I still love listening to BOTH Brett and Justin singing. Their voices, SO AMAZING, and SO unique, and their Bands, well, I really miss them.
Lead Singer found Jesus and is doing Worship music now, he's actually going to be about 20 minutes away March of 2018 in Benton Illinois singing at the R.I.O.T. music event!
Man... This was such an amazing group. Every time I listen to this album I get such a great feeling, it's wierd. I wonder what ever happened to them, definitely a group I would have loved to follow.
They split up during creating an album. Sucks right??? I love them. On the flip side, one of the songs from there new album did make it to You tube. Its called searching for someone. My friend Lynda told me about it we thought they had a new album but they actually had just split up. Its a really good song. I do recommend looking it up and listening. Maybe they will get back together so we can all see and hear them again.
My old buddy linked this song to me just now. I haven't heard it in like 20 years. It was like getting my tip licked again for the first time. I love this song.
I remember exactly where I was when I first heard this song. I have never been so blown away by a band before in my life. It was like discovering music for the first time.
Here, listening this beauty, laying in my bed at 3:54 am, feeling totally amazed on how my life went so fast, and how i didn't appreciate so many things back in the day. I wish I could rewind my life.
Holy nostalgia overload. This and many other great songs from the early to mid 2ks quickly faded from memory due to bad habits. Every now and then a song like this will pop up that I haven’t heads in almost 20 years and it’s almost like hearing it for the first time all over again - i get super stoked and play it on repeat.
Very beautiful song indeed, and singer Justin Holman has the perfect voice for the genre. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the track was hanging around on the Daredevil soundtrack back in the day, but for some reason I don't think it got much coverage in the movie. It would have been perfect for the moment where Ben Affleck "sees" Jennifer Garner's face for the first time from the sound of the raindrops falling on her skin. There's that word again - perfect. Quite right too.

This song is impossible to listen to just once. Killer track. THIS is music \m/
MVP Baseball brought me here
Brings me to tears to this day!
doubt this song will ever be too old
Reminds me of a girl I wish I should have spent more time with! I miss that feeling when I was around her.
Still listening in 2019!! Outta Carbondale Illinois!!
At least three of them were from farther in the sticks than that... Really great fellers.
Yes. I'm from Pinckneyville, IL and saw these guys several times. They sure did bring it.
2019 and still jamming to it. Man 2000-2003 best time in music. That music is incomparable. Were we could rockout to songs in a car eating airheads. Now everyone be on their airpods ignoring each other. We need to go back!
Makes me nostalgic for a time I wasn't even around for.
It’s a spirit, earlier 2000s rock brought it and you connected to it. Makes you want to release a bunch of energy
Very good, yet very underrated song.
Good times. Miss those days...
top 100 music rock song of all time period.
Where you at 2019 listeners?!
Sometimes I wonder if these guys are still together touring in an alternate universe.....
:-)
Sadly, they aren’t. My uncle played guitar and wrote the songs for Revis. He is still in the music business now and Justin is too! 😀
Matt Waldron
They are
Occasional do a show also
John Fitzgerald When & Where I'm There!!!
"Revis Lead Guitarist",
Robert Davis' New Band..."Animal Waves"...
Band:
Robert Davis - Vocals/ Guitar
Charles Salvaggio - Bass
Matt Zavorski - Drums
From time to time, Nathaniel Cox, may work in complilation with Robert behind the scenes.
Music died in the early 2000's. You don't hear this sound anymore😢
What raw energy from such young guys, amazing songs. After all these years I still find it hard to find a match to their energy, they kick it or they send it high and far.
I've owned this album since 2003 on cd and it gets played about 30 times a year.
It just sits in the car cd player
Even after all this time I still absolutely love it.
PLEASE COME BACK!! I REALLY REALLY LOVE REVIS WITH ALL MY SOUL!
Revis and Submersed are 2 bands that should have been huge. Love this track.
i love this song ... i can't believe they weren't HUGE and more importantly still together. what a voice Justin has. wow.
I got it.
Who's still listening in 2019??
I am. Love this shit!
Check
Lead singer used to work in mt vernon il with one of my buds. Chill guy he said.
I am it still rocks 🤘
Here I am.
MVP Baseball 03
one of the greatest songs ever!!!
yessss
Man I miss this era
Still love this effin song!!! I bought this cd overseas when I was in the Navy in 2004 on a whim and wow awesome band!!
Ashamed that a band like this doesn't get recognition to the point to call it a day and garbage keeps selling.
***** The usual pop garbage we see in the media such as justin bieber and taylor swift.
+ᅚ ᅚ ᅚ Why? lol songs such as those are expendable. The thing is, back in the day real musicians had more opportunity in the music industry... if this band had come out in the 90's they would've lasted longer.
yesss, finally someone who speaks english i love deep bands like this that really get to your core
cynthia king yes, I agree with u.brilliant man!
Their voices, SO AMAZING, and SO unique, and their Bands, well, I really miss them.
this is one of a kind modern rock music
This is a post grunge... Nice song...🤘🏼
20 years down. Just like that 🤯
Rock.....pure rock!!!! back in time
Agreed I miss music from 2000 to 2006
I love this band. Men I wish this band do a come back.
Lead Singer found Jesus and is doing Worship music now, he's actually going to be about 20 minutes away March of 2018 in Benton Illinois singing at the R.I.O.T. music event!
That is one badass song high energy 💪💪
The greatest song you have never heard of...
Daredevil, I love this soundtrack
Loved this band from day one. Wish they were still around.
This song for some reason just can't grow old
I remember exactly where I was when I first heard this song. I have never been so blown away by a band before in my life. It was like discovering music for the first time.
Hard to believe it has been 20 years now. Glad I got to see them once. Edgefest, Tulsa. Sept 7, 2003
I know the video shows a little different, but what if this is one mans song to Jesus Christ....WOW!
This kind of music spoke to the normal youths, nowadays music is all about instagram celebrities.
High Schools Vibes 💚💜
From Daredevil Soundtrack 👌
Places for Breathing is one of those rare albums without a single "bad" track.
@@robosoap2857 I loved this album
Very beautiful song indeed, and singer Justin Holman has the perfect voice for the genre. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the track was hanging around on the Daredevil soundtrack back in the day, but for some reason I don't think it got much coverage in the movie. It would have been perfect for the moment where Ben Affleck "sees" Jennifer Garner's face for the first time from the sound of the raindrops falling on her skin. There's that word again - perfect. Quite right too.
Nick Knight my uncle played guitar and wrote songs for Revis! His name is Nathaniel.
Glad to hear u like em
Underrated movie
I always think of my beautiful wife when I hear this song, we've been married 17 years longer than this song.
Such a shame.
Revis should’ve had 3-5 mega albums by now. This whole album is devastatingly wonderful. Such good songwriting and production.
