I just discovered this Machine from hell and i love it, this has become a regular part of my workout routine and i am doing a Minimum of 1,000 every time I use it. Right not it takes me between 13-15 minutes
I’m currently 335 pounds. I hate this machine but it kicks my butt and I love it. My goal is to get to five minutes without stopping. I do five sets of one minutes.
I believe in you! You can do it!!
15 min here. As of July
In JAN 2022 I could barely walk on an incline on a treadmill.
My best advice is just Give God all The Glory and Credit.
God Bless
Good for you bro. Keep it up!
Congratulations! This is Psalm 37:5 personified! May God continue to bless you.
THIS MACHINE IS THE BEST!
Thank you Mark for sharing this information. You covered everything that was missing from other videos... I am deeply grateful
What a thrill
You’re pretty good
The first time I saw one at the gym, I asked the trainer "what's that?".... her reply "that is excellent cardio is what that is". She was right, best workout I ever did.
I wish I had seen this video sooner. "Most people when they first start out only last 3 or 4 minutes". YOU ARE SO RIGHT! This machine is harder than it looks! I finished the C25K workout on a treadmill and then started the program over with a faster speed and higher incline. I thought I was in good condition and tried the Jacobs Ladder for the first time yesterday. I didn't last 5 minutes, but I'm sticking with it.
LOL. I didn't stick with it XD. I cut back on cardio and switched to lifting. The Jacobs Ladder should call to mind the same torture as the Iron Maiden. But seriously, this machine pushes your limits. When I next switch up my routine Ive been thinking about going back to it.

Looking forward to trying this at the works gym.
Thank you. This is helpful for me.
Thanks you!! My new fave machine and burns a lot of calories
This was a great instructional video! Thank you!
thank you so much I just started my gym experience and today i was looking on that Jacob's ladder and i was wondering how the hell use that thing...now I know
I hope he gets to the top soon
Does this burn a lot of calories ?
Apparently it's the cardio-machine that burns the most calories per minute
Was expecting a workout with the jacobs ladder movie playing in the background
How are they holding up? I want one but I heard due to the way they’re constructed the degrade very quickly and won’t last the test of time
If you buy new from the manufacturer, it should last a long time depending on how often you use it. Eventually, you'll need to have a tech tighten the chains because they'll loosen over time. I bought my Jacobs Ladder 2 two years ago and love it! Mine hasn't been serviced yet but I'm the only one who uses it at home.
Whats the max weight it takes and how does the back feel after.. I have sensitive back and neck
Im hypertensive sir ,, can i use the jacobs ladder?
Whats the purpose of the belt?
If you fall it’ll stop the machine
It releases the braking mechanism to allow the rungs to move. If you don't wear the belt, the rungs won't move.
It’s looks scary to me 😢
I'm at 90 seconds a rep lol
by far you explained the instructions very clearly. better than any one else. was so confused about this belt and why I needed it. thank you.
So that u are at the centre of the machine I guess. U don't overstep if the belt is attached.
Agreed! Best instructional video
Honestly thought it was a dumb machine and pointless, since I’ve never seen anyone use it. Now I know why. Because nobody knows how lol. I think try it soon.
Iiiimmm stiiiiilll in a dreaaaaammmm snake eaterrrrrrrrrrr
note : lastly...dont forget to then sanitize your hands as you just got everyones dirty shoe slim all over your hands
This looks fun
This guy is only 5ft 5 Lmao
Is the machine a bit noisy?
Marks and Spencer !
No wonder he can afford one, price of their goods!
I wish it went faster
There's no motor so you just need to climb faster.
@SpaceBoy That's not how the JL works. The tether belt worn around the waist releases the braking mechanism allowing the rungs to move. If you don't wear the belt, the rungs won't move. This machine is a human hamster wheel that can be used by a 100lb person.
