That looks great! When I replaced the wood floor in my foyer (with similar wood, but slightly different color...extended through the house so it had to match), I did something very similar. But, mine was hardwood so it was solid oak planks that were glued up. I really like the stripes you got out of it!!!
Very nice. I am still learning and practicing. Is the finished bowl suitable to serve food items ? I still don't know yet what materials and products are safe for such. Peaceful days to you
The type wax that I’ve been using is not food safe, so the bowl is for decorative use or wrapped sweets/candy. There are so many finishes to pick from so it can be quite confusing. If I’m making a fruit / salad bowl, then I’ll always use a natural oil to ensure that it’s food safe. Hope the practicing goes well. 👍
Yes it is quite unique. I enjoy making bowls from scraps and non traditional woods, as you never quite know how they are going to finish. Thanks for watching 👍
Beautiful
Thank you 🎅👍
I was needing a dose of "wax on, wax off"! Thank you and Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄🎄
