I was out there yesterday. Had a ball. I caught squat in the channel, but they did pretty good in the shallow flats, up in the coves.

i was out yesterday jigging for crappie. no crappie but some how managed to land a 30lb flathead on a trout rod with 4lb test. only took 35 min

@@TopKnoxFishing was by far the longest fight I’ve ever had. Had to call someone to bring a net down to me lol. Prolly won’t see another flathead to end of April now. I’m in pa. Just went from night of 70s last week for a few days back down to 20s with a bit of snow this week.

i was wondering the same thing, i have seen other videos from that river and they "always" say their not good to eat as they toss um back!
I've ate plenty from there,never had a problem. I don't eat big fish though,from anywhere. The rivers in Ga. Have the same warnings signs. You would have to eat like thousands of pounds of fish a year to get a stomach ache. They are fine to eat.
