That was an excellent recipe. I’ve never seen the noodles prepared, laid out, and then layered in the lasagna like that … I thought it was a very clever way of preparing the noodles to keep them from sticking together and to ensure you use them all in the most effective and efficient way possible. I learned something new … and have been preparing lasagna for years?! Lol So Thank you for sharing your recipe!! ❤️👍😊
Thank you! You don’t know how this helped me with a childhood favorite I remember and at 46 am cooking. Your recipe blended my dad’s and it made it very tasty and helpful!
I really love this recipe ,it’s so easy to follow & I can taste it already Your lovely personality is shining right through it I just wonder how to save the half leftover for another time ,can I freeze it without loosing the taste ? Hmm
Just beautiful, thank you so much for sharing your recipe and method 😁. I really like your tips on processing the pasta. I'm making it right now and it's coming out so nicely. Wow, in all my years of cooking, I have never thought of that. Thank you for sharing your know how 😊
My favorite pasta dishes are ofcourse lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo, penne 4 cheese, cheese tortellini with chicken Curry, tuna pasta salad, shell pasta with (yogurt, garlic, minced beef & pinenuts), shell pasta & beef tomato soup with (garlic, dried mint & lemon), orzo & chicken pilaf...
Hi Russell, I haven't tried the no bake lasagna noodles yet, thanks for the suggestion. We have saved extra noodles from this recipe, popped them in the fridge and used them later in the week for lasagna roll-ups 😊
1:02 I put the grease outside in a tub in my orchard & the magpies come & peck at it. I see their beak marks all through it from where they've been eating it.
Hi Manuel, no I just put some seasoning salt in the frying pan to start. I usually use like an 85/15 ground beef mixture, and then spoon off any extra fat. Hope that helps!
Hi Corporal Bekir, it's often placed near cream cheese in our stores, if you're not able to find ricotta cheese you could substitute small curd cottage cheese. Hope you enjoy!
We'll, this is HER recipe. I always use fresh onion & garlic. Her recipe is likely geared for a little more simplicity. Although if you're taking the time to make your own sauce & let that simmer for an hour, why not use fresh garlic & onion? Peace.
Do Not Like,Do Not Subscribe. Rude people should be on the View ,not watching lovely lady preparing Easy Lasagna. Wow It’s only a suggestion, Not a Bible
A little expensive beef choice for lasagna - in one breath you say it’s great but then say you drain it (It also doesn’t clog your pipes if you run hot water and you’re not dumping like a gallon of oil). Ps are you getting props from Costco??? I’m still giggling about the wagyu beef choice. Oi vey.
Um you’re suppose to use lean meat so it’s not too wet in the end for the same reason now you’re having to remove the fat. So many things incorrect here... red flag moving on
Thanks for the note Laura B! We like to use the 80/20 blend because its got more flavor, and you're right it does end up with more fat at the end but we just scoop out the extra 😊
If you’re using canned tomatoes always remove the basil. It’s been in that can for who knows how long and tends to be bitter. Replace with fresh basil or omit it
I stopped buying canned tomato's with basil in them because they tasted weird & yet basil is one of my favourite herbs, now I know why that is.I learned something. Thank-you
Nothing happens to the basil all of it preserved that's why it's in the can it tastes the same as fresh basil and usually canned tomatop sauce doesn't have chunks of basil in it
Just found your RUclips channel looking for a good recipe that I liked. Thank you! Gained another fan!
Thank you for posting this video! Just made homemade lasagna for the first time tonight! Came out very good.

Cool technics, I’m going to try them out myself today.
Haha! It looks a little weird but it's the only way we make lasagna now :)

You're so welcome, Mara!! Doing it this way has made making lasagna so easy for a weeknight dinner :) Hope you enjoy!
A Perfect COSTCO DINNER..🤗🤗🤗😍😍😍😍
Awesome video. I will be using ground Italian sausage instead of hamburger. Hopefully it will be great as well.
Thank you!
When you said you were going to add the 'erbs, I was glad that 2 of the 6 ingredients you added actually turned out to be herbs.
I really love this recipe ,it’s so easy to follow & I can taste it already Your lovely personality is shining right through it
I just wonder how to save the half leftover for another time ,can I freeze it without loosing the taste ? Hmm
My God...that looks amazing! 😍

Great. Easy way.
Right?! Totally makes making lasagna so much easier!☺️
Well to answer your question, I like lasagna but I can’t cook to save my life!! So thank you for this video!!
Making tomorrow for mothers day
Thank you❤

I just posted my latest video on chicken and pasta and it led me to your video 😊❤❤❤. You make cooking look so easy. Love it!! 🎉🥰 😊
Going to Harris Teeter later today....Easy and looks DELICIOUS 😋
Thank you Pamela Scott! Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!! 😊
Great video!!
I think this is the 1st lasagna recipe I've seen that didnt call for an egg, Interesting!
It all holds together well without the egg! 😊 Thanks for watching Lisa Bickford!
Have you tried the no bake lasagna noodles? I cook for one and that make me a few extra meals for the freezer.
Hi Russell, I haven't tried the no bake lasagna noodles yet, thanks for the suggestion. We have saved extra noodles from this recipe, popped them in the fridge and used them later in the week for lasagna roll-ups 😊
Good job … looks delicious!
… I meant to add that I prefer the classic cheese lasagna (meatless).
Thank you, Peter!
I made the motz noodles. They turned out pretty good.
The greatest can be used for a TON of things. Don't waste. There's common groups in every community that you can give or trade stuff with
Thank you lady!🎉
Looks delicious!
❤
I'm making this tomorrow, but I'm making homemade ravioli instead. 😌
Can the ricotta be added by itself without the other cheese?
1:02 I put the grease outside in a tub in my orchard & the magpies come & peck at it. I see their beak marks all through it from where they've been eating it.
Does it matter if you make 1 layer of ricotta cheese and 1 layer of meat sauce???
Thanks, I don't simmer my sauce for 1 hr tho, and I don't use that much cheese in a smaller baking dish.
Can you use OVEN READY LASAGNA???
Thanks ❤
Added egg to ricotta cheese, basil, s&p, then applied to the noodles. Old family recipe.
Did you cook the meat in oil ? Making this tomorrow
Hi Manuel, no I just put some seasoning salt in the frying pan to start. I usually use like an 85/15 ground beef mixture, and then spoon off any extra fat. Hope that helps!
@@CookingUpLove thank you so much, made it a while ago and it came out awesome!!!
About to make it again in a bit
You da best✌✌✌
Awwww, thanks! Hope you loved the lasagna!! 😊
Big like
Thanks, Jason 😊 Hope you get a chance to make it!!
Mouth watering delicious 💕
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that Phyllis! 😊
Oven temp?
🥰
How much meat
Hi Craig, I've used about 2 pounds of ground beef in the recipe. Hope you enjoy it!
Bad thing is that i dont even think anyone sells this cheese in my towm
Hi Corporal Bekir, it's often placed near cream cheese in our stores, if you're not able to find ricotta cheese you could substitute small curd cottage cheese. Hope you enjoy!
Good food🫢🫢🫢😎
yeah.... nothin like a little lint with your noodles
Lol 😝
Like $30 worth of cheese at sprouts.
Look good…check out how I made mine
You're suppose to put eggs into the ricotta,
It spreads easier with an egg cracked in it.
Next time why not cut the tomatoes, Instead of breaking them in your hand?
It’s standard to break them up for Italian dishes, also the tomato’s are very easy to handle. All mushy 😵💫
Always criticizing just do it your way and be nice after all she is the one eating it and enjoying it not you
Oh c'mon, it's just a suggestion to people who (maybe) never thought about it!
Like beginners.😘
Way too light on the cheese.
What the hell? Garlic and onion powder? For real? Why not just use real garlic and onion, makes all the difference
Yoo calm down she was so sweet
Remember this is her recipe not yours and this is the way she likes to do it and she is kind enough to share it with everyone. You do you.
We'll, this is HER recipe. I always use fresh onion & garlic. Her recipe is likely geared for a little more simplicity. Although if you're taking the time to make your own sauce & let that simmer for an hour, why not use fresh garlic & onion?
Peace.
I think that's why she named the video easy. Skip the time consuming steps. Best of luck

Oh go away!
“It was layers of noodle”
No shit
Lol

Lol😂 here I am again 2 years later 🤮. If you’re gonna be making a spare dish for somebody, please use gloves.
