  • In this video i show you snippets of how i build this 4x3m timber constructed Shed/Workshop.
I used strong constructional methods to ensure a strong and long last shed. if you have any questions feel free comment below.
    Steps shown are below:
    -Timber shed base
    -OSB 3 floor boards
    -Stud frames for the walls
    -Timber shiplap cladding all round
-Install roof joist for flat roof
    -Install roof boards and felt
    -Install Guttering
    -Custom door
    -Electrics
    Thanks

No water barrier on the inside. That rain is going to come off the roof and under the eves, rotting the wood and possibly leaking inside. In addition, there's no barrier I could see on the chipboard or the floor frame. Moisture will kill them too. Looks nice though.

Hi buddy.... If you are going to use this as small workshop, you might want some air flow. Couple of small windows that open... I built a similar shed and put a perspex window in, to let some light in, but it has no openers... Summertime heat is brutal in my shed.... That's something I learned from my own DIY build.. We live and learn... Good effort on this one though.... Take no notice of any neggy comments in the chat. Everyone is a fkn genius sat in front of You Tube.

Superb job... I have 2 paid for similar sheds, and now in need for a third.... might follow your example !!!
Great video and you're only missing dimensions and over all quality of shiplap clapping... but I guess that depends of what size we all build
    Great effort!!!

Not at all a "how to". Waste of time if you are trying to learn how to build a shed. A better title would be "man walks about taking short videos of various stages of someone building a shed to crap music".

I just looked and it’s a scam. Lying to us what the video is about as i’l learn nothing from this video about ‘ How to build a shed’. Take it down and show us exactly how you built it with detailed verbal instructions and a plan and measurements. 1/10 . Just a honest review. I’m just very annoyed at you . 😢

If you can't see how it's constructed from this video, you shouldn't be building your own. You have to have basic woodworking skills or even with instructions it will turn out substandard, as well as taking your sanity!

i'm about to move house and have my very own garden i have decided this is going to be my very first project however i'd like to have power to it coming from the house and maybe get the landlords approval for it all so that it can add value to the property i don't see why he wouldn't have a issue with it.

I used 3x2 timber for this build. For the roof I believe it was a 4x2. This shed build was roughly 4 x 5

Are the frames just tacked together with no corner posts? This is how my prefab shed is built and im on here looking to replace it because its bowing and wonky 😕
With such a heavy roof, is the whole thing not under a load of sideways shear stress? what is stopping it from tipping over? Just the panels nailed together?

    • @OggyGTA
      @OggyGTA 3 месяца назад

The weight of wood stops it going anywhere. Nearly all the forces from the weight of the roof are directed vertically, there is a slight sheer force but that is inconsequential.
