CycleCruza hey love the bike but get a heat shield for under the side number plate by the exhaust save some money and keep the plastic from warping and burning/ melting it also keeps the color from changing from the heat

Well it is his channel so whatever he wants. It's all good and I'm not even into supamotos but I like street legal dirt bikes. I never knew it was so cheap to do it and i did learn a couple things.

Polisport is trash, I just returned two sets of panels with defects and poor painting.

Those yz450fx are amazing bikes. I rode one at a demo in the weekend and I would 100% buy one if I didn’t have to get a smaller bike for my learners. Good choice man.
If it were my bike I would have have just left the stock fender as is, looked way better imo. I don’t like like the super motto fenders in any bike though

Yeah Buddy! That is one SICK bike! Only things I'd do differently and believe me this is nit-picking is: 1. Theres too much blue plastic, needs something (a white or black number plate panel or pin stripe, etc). to break up all that blue. 2. The front fender custom cut is pretty cool but it "looks" homemade and a little too jagged for my taste. Maybe a black pinstripe sticker on the leading edge? Better yet just stick with the stock fender? ....All these minor things aside I think you have made an incredible motorcycle...I know you were kinda of doing this build for "us" but I hope once you start putting some miles under your belt this bike becomes your favorite. Keep in mind too that while all this do-it-yourself-fookery, making videos, etc. is a great way to bond with a motorcycle it can sometimes inadvertently turn a person off with a negative association (i.e. a lot of money, a lot of time and energy, etc) ...take a couple of days or a week away from the bike...dont even look at it! Then come back to it with a fresh perspective and take that perfect beast for a ride...its going to be AWESOME!

How about a ram phone mount and a handlebar voltometer? You can get both under 70$
With this bike, it has wifi stats and ability to tune the bike. You can see the battery status via smart phone. I will cover all of this in future vids. I need to update my smart phone, I'm still on a iphone 4s. lol I mainly use my newer Samsung Gear S3 4G smart watch the most,.

Why not buy a SM fender? Where you got your wheels they sell them. That was you have both. For dirt and SM. Btw take that to a track now. You will be amazed on the fun factor

Off topic but I am looking for a lightweight dual sport. I already have motocross bikes for my serious off-road riding and am looking for a bike just to goon around on in trails, fields and riding to work and with buddies, i really like the looks of the crf250l but everyone says it is a turd stock, is the wr250r worth the extra cash? If I got the crf I would probably go big bore and modify its balls off as I have a shop to work in. Do you have any regrets not going for the crf compared to your wr? By the way awesome bike, if I was in the market for a new 450 that’d be my choice, minus I love me a kickstarter lol
ALL 250cc dual sports are turds stock or modded. But they are fun. Wrr is worth the extra cash no doubt but keep in mind no matter how much you mod it, it ain’t gonna be a ktm. If you are fine with it then the wrr is the best bike to get new.

It's the same size as SM fenders for sale and looks better to me. The reason I skipped the Acerbis SM fender is because it looks cheesy.

15 tooth sunstar front sprocket. You can still power wheelie in third. Been running it for 2 years now. No leaks. No issues at all.
