DL is a great guitarist too. Him and his last band The Acacia Strain influenced the hardcore/Deathcore scene. He's a great producer, and multi instrumentalist.
DL is actually one of the greatest riff writers of the last 15 years. He was the original guitarist for The Acacia Strain

My mother past away less than a month ago. She was the unfortunate victim of medical malpractice and ended up in hospice care. About two days before she past, this song came in my suggested RUclips list as I was driving from a night over at the hospice house with my mom. It’s a beautiful song and I don’t think I would have processes things the way I did without this song. Thank you ❤

I know how you feel man. I lost my best friend to an OD almost 8 years ago. He and I were wicked close for 12 years. Some of my best memories are with him. I still miss him so much to this day. I keep a 3rd gen camaro hot wheels that looks exactly like his did when we met withina case with his picture in the case. It's in my car with a pin that says "never drive faster than guardian angel can fly."
