Does anyone remember when Bethune's tuba section entered the stadium in limos? Bethune's tuba section used to be the show back in the day. I remember my high school used to travel to Daytona to march in Bethune's homecoming parade. The first year (my freshman year) I was initially disappointed because the crowd was sparse. Then it happened - we crossed the railroad tracks. The upperclassmen started chanting whooa, whooa... the percussion section came off the rim and two sisters that could hump got side by side. I could feel the excitement growing among the upperclassmen. We tuned a corner and all I could see was blacks folks lined up five rows deep. The percussion section kicked in, the two sisters starting stepping, the crowd screamed, and the adrenaline flowed. I went all in on that baritone that beautiful sunny Saturday in Daytona. At least that's how I remember it. That was fifty years ago.
Amazing how youtube trollers try to dog GSU for never bending from their traditions yet every song BCU play in the stands they are doing some type dance which can be annoying to some but you never hear anyone complain. Man, there is a lot of hatred and jealousy in HBCU's. And i am not saying deviate from you BCU, keep doing you and damn the haters for it is bands like you and GSU that continue making a footprint for up and coming bands.
Come on Tweet😍😍😍😭
14k wasn’t playing this game 🤞🏾🔥🔥
