BCU has one of the cleanest sounds around. Dynamic and full. Those DM's are smooth too. I enjoyed the show.

I think this is a really good band. Well disciplined, great sound, great marching, great DMs, and very under-rated!! That my first love almost got X-rated!! That dancer named Vanity.......................in the words of Neno Brown...................."Lawd ham mercy"!! lol
14k ate that field up! Ebonee and her team were untouchable!

If we as HBCU bands ever plan on winning the Sudler award again we have to step out of our "musical" comfort zone. BCU has the foundation NCAT and SU have it too.
BCU should have already won it compared to the recent recipients...

@@rodneyplayer5483 The drum majors batons are called maces. They are just daring them to mess up.
In 2015 one of the drum majors dropped the mace on purpose as part of the drum major intro and some in the crowd thought he messed up.

Love 14K but it’s time for them to upgrade from these basic pep rally/stands songs and venture out. They have the technique, they have the flexibility, they have the strength and agility, they have the energy!! The only thing holding them back is these 2 mins to 2mins & 30 sec sounding ass music lol making their presence on the field merely memorable, fleeting and short changing the audience (true dancers) from seeing how creative they can be. Hopefully 2018 they have a better song selection for the season.
Surf Noir they don’t pick how long their feature is. That’s up to the band director 🤷🏽♂️ I think what they do in that short period of time is great! A lot of dance lines won’t be able to hang with 14k as it relates to energy in these field shows. And what was basic in this routine?
