  • In this video I go over some of my matches from both a winnning streak and a losing streak. I examine how salt makes us play worse, and how keeping calm can help us to play reactively.

    I think it's very honest of you to show your defeats too and take them as an example. I know I've raged and lost many more matches than I should have, had I tried to collect myself and keep my composure instead. ^^

    Much love for showing this bro. Like many have said...definitely speaks to us and have mad respect for you analyzing this publicly. Every time I start up the game I tell myself "you won't get tilted, your going to learn to hold your L's".....two matches in...and I'm boiling on the inside. Last week I had to just say F it and went to play Starcraft II ahahahahahahah!!!

    I swear sometimes your videos are speaking right to me 😂😂😂 I was getting killed by perfect parry and you showed me the delay oki. Last night I was super tilted and went on a losing streak. Bless you man your videos are a god send 😤

    Great video man. That took incredible humility after something we all experience, especially with this game. Mad respect to you for doing that. I'll have to get you a couple of my replays for some analysis.

    I would like to see more of these. They work perfectly for matchup vids. Better cos they show the real world application. It's good to see inside a mind and know other people do the same ssss as me and also know what to do when those things happen. Splice in a few lab bits like you did and it's top class mate. 🤙

    Your tilt persona, as you described it could easily be me on a Wednesday evening after having put the spawn to bed, completely exhausted out of my mind and for some reason still feeling like hitting up ranked.
    What I'm stealing is the after play by play of my own tilt replays so I can self reflect on how much of a bad idea it is to queue when I'm definitely not in the right headspace for it 😂

  • @RackSimons
    @RackSimons 6 месяцев назад +5

    this was a great video. I learned a couple weeks ago to stop tilt queuing, because all that happens is I lose more rank points. Its good to take a break sometimes. I respect you even more for showing your own replays, I learn something from every video 👍👍👍

    Yo! Mad respect for putting this out there. Often seems like (healthy) self-criticism and analysis are the hardest skills for people to learn, including myself. I still don't look at my replays as much as I should. There's a "look at the mirror" element I need to get over, before looking at them. This helps a ton.

    • @ZachHenke
      @ZachHenke  6 месяцев назад +2

      It’s certainly a thing in every aspect of life. One of the people I really look up to was fond of saying that every once in a while you just need to look in the mirror and ask if you’re being honest with yourself.

    Despite not being legend rank or something obscenely high, I think it takes 2 different minds to teach a game, and play a game. Youre master rank and know enough to be an even better teacher than say, BigBird or the like. Thanks for the tips.

      I’ve gone through some really bad streaks with it. When it gets really bad I find it’s because I’m making the game more important than it should be. I find it helps to focus on other things when I’m playing ranked. Put other things on in between matches. Helps me to actually enjoy the games I’m playing more.
