Thanks for the video. I think it's really interesting that these kind of builds are even possible.
I wish more builds like these existed.
Keep up the content!
I would love to see the frame times, because running this at PCIE x1 was probably the cause of the performance issues, and not the system ram.
I watched this video mainly for the silly build.
Love such experiments!
I have been waiting for someone to do this thank you it's just a curiosity really but to have that much power and that little bit of space is definitely cool I would love to give it a test drive and would definitely use if I somehow acquired it.
Please make video "Lattepanda Alpha vs Lattepanda 3 Delta"
Delta 3 should be much faster, being 4 cores and 24 EU gpu. Maybe the single channel ram will hold it back?
@@PMARC14 Delta's processor better, but alpha's graphics processor better.
Lattepanda Alpha: $459
Lattepanda 3 Delta: $239
Which better i don't know!
@@KsenjiaRegard I don't think so, the celeron N5105 in the delta 3 being 11th gen has 24 EU, same count as the M3-8100y in the alpha, but they are of a newer gen and can clock higher also. All I am missing is if the alpha has dual channel memory
@@PMARC14 Yes, i like play games. I need to know, can i play Minecraft, Fortnite, csgo, gta V comfortable and without lags?
@@KsenjiaRegard I mean if you are playing games why choose these SBC's at all, that isn't what they are good for
I really like this kind of videos… it’s like a treasure hunting, you never know when you can find gold!
That’s really cool. Might try this
Would love to see something like this but all powered by a 240w laptop power supply.
yes you can do it with this unit. It accepts 12V input. so a 12volt power brick is enough
just buy a decent laptop
@@xienjougao3131 No. But thanks for the terrible opinion, lmfao.
@@LazyPCRehab pre practical.. you will spend more with that.
@@xienjougao3131 I could care less about your opinions. It’s hilarious that you think your opinion is somehow fact. Please go find someone who wants to deal with your condescension. Hint: not me.
With a 3D printed case, this would be just about perfect for a lightweight emulator.
My dream universal emulator PC would basically be a sexy modern looking game cube.
With the form factor and power of modern SBCs . . .
Soon!
@@Bustermachine PSTV gets you real close. Nothing over 5th gen sadly
@@Bustermachine Time to learn how to 3D print
amazing setup
@etaprime I have found that you get a lot more consistent performance by disabling Energy Efficient Turbo in the bios and increasing Power Limit 1 from 10W to 11-12W and the Platform PL1 Power from 12W to 15W or higher (I use 20W since I use an eGPU with my Latte Panda 3 Delta, like you in this video.)
That's cool this can be done.
This is sick!
thats DOPE so freaking cool. ive found some really cool ITX cases on amazon that this build would look really cool inside of. or like a military ammo box lol i have one in my room for that reason but haven't taken a drill to it yet
It would be interesting to check it with any external AMD gpu, because recently there were tests showing that AMD drivers have lower overhead and lower cpu usage.
Someone over in the LattePanda Discord has designed a case for the LP3D that supports the RX6400 XFX. Might be worth checking out if you have a 3D printer.
I'll post the files in the discord once it's done ^^
@@nitram1666 💯
@@iam.jasonhoward Wait, what? Lattepanda had discord channel? Can you share?
that pcie 2x gen 3 would be terrible for that card in all honesty a used cause even 3.0 4x only gets half of the performance due to gddr6 i think the latte would be a bit better using an oem 5300xt it has higher performance its still a gen 4 card but it uses gddr5 so it wont stress the pcie as much only drawback is you need a 6 pin connector
Gotta watch this later. Thumbnail looks highly appealing.
Now that’s a gaming pc rite there
Another great video! It’s funny how even with no emulators tested, God of War still broke the device tested.
N50 105, just sounded funny. Cheers!
One of those keyboard cases would be cool to for this
Wonderful, can You make video of running Tensorflow code on it?
now that im looking at this lattepanda thing, i feel like this is what some of those mini pcs at amazon use.
Immersed new visor + latte panda is the future for me. Spread sheets, youtube, reddit, and general browsing in XR. Here I come!
So beautiful! In Argentina we have killing taxes to get one of those. You will end up spending the price of a full fledged Ryzen 5, to get a Latte Panda without the accesory to connect that VGA.
This would be so awesome with thunderbolt. Would have bought it instantly. Maybe for the lattepanda 4...
I would likely use the LattePanda 3 Delta as a steam PC streaming to my Raspberry Pi 4b.
I guy who computer and cpu is not great with 3060. I just love this video.
will you be reviewing the up 4000 as well ?
You should've tried turning on hardware accelerated gpu scheduling in windows settings
Sick man sick bro how much this man
@ETA PRIME Can you do a speed test on SSD and eMMC, please?
That cracks me up everytime when the GPU holds the motherboard 😅
I wonder how close this SBC might look alike if I remove the case from one of the recently released Mini PC.
Very cool 😎
It's a mini PC the size of a graphics card. Very interesting.
could you do a build with the silverstone rvz03 case ? i have a ryzen radeon rx bom for $900 and $1900. I really would be interested in what you do with this mini itx case
This thing is stronger than my pc I sold 4 years ago ... dang...
I get going smaller for form factor/power draw, but with the graphics card and added PCB you're just better off with a MIcroATX case/NUC or whatever.
I've had a lot of success with my RX6400 together with the 3 Delta
would love to see how this perfomes in cad. could need a tiny pc for the shop. but probably is the ram a problem
Use the RTX a 2000 at 8k that would be a cool video
EtaPrime SteamOS might be best for a setup like this without the overhead of Windows eating system resources. I wonder if the games would run better.
Could you give your opinion on the Intel n4020 and UHD 600 setup since it's being used for the soon to be released Hackboard 2 ?
can u make a video of using the lattepanda as a 2nd streaming pc for twitch/youtube, using the NDI on OBS to OBS with and without a gpu
I want a decent, mid range (r/i 5- and a 1660ti/2060/3060), laptop, without a keyboard, trackpad, or screen. I want to treat the Battery like a UPS.
in exchange for me using my own keyboard, mouse, and Monitor I want this bare laptop to be around $500-$600 instead of its conventional counterpart being $1000 +.
Also deshrouding the gpu would look pretty clean imo
Amazing
ETA: Could you test this setup Specifically for a plex server. and use a P2000 (or maybe any nvidia card) as the video card. To test if it can stream 4k, If so how many concurrent streams. Currious about the Intel quicksync, and the Nvidia encoding for Plex using Hardware Decoding. and ! small box being able to decode streams using either or both types of decoding when needed for differnt compressed (x264,h264, MKV, 265) movies.
Does using both m.2 somehow convert x4 to x1? If I recall pic does something like this depending on what you have plugged in and where.
Spider Man issues may be due to intense asset streaming and the bottleneck between storage and the GPU PCI-E lanes? I imagine that the other games just don't do as much of this when in-game. Pretty sure that the original PS release of this actually had assets stored to the HDD multiple times so I/O was quick enough not to cause stutter (or not load in-time).
the pci-e gen3x2 is for intels own budget nvme drives that are pci-e gen3x2.
Hoping the next gen lattepanda alpha will have 16gb dual channel ram. Should make it far more capable with an egpu
Would be cool to see this put into a cyberdeck
They better watch this and make it better on next version, then I'll consider to buy.
please test the supermicro X12STN-E SBC with rx6400.its a gen 4 sbc it has an m.2 slot running at x4 4.0 and an i5 11th gen mobile cpu. i would like to see if the rx6400 going to get bottleneck or it will run just like in a regular gen4 desktop
Still at that price so much better options available. The market for >150 euro SBC's is tiny.
Just a quick question
What is the name of the soundtrack that he used in his intro
Very pleasant imo
Would like to see how Auto Modelista fares compared to previous test.
Can you review the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro? Btw, awesome video.
This is the most phallic thing I've ever not even yet seen.
(this is a comment posted before actually watching the video)
This would be a beast with a gt 1030! No extra power and super compact!
Hey ETA PRIME can you compare this delta 3 with the Alpha? Greetings from germany
@ETA PRIME Any idea if the latest LattePanda Sigma will perform much better with 16GB ?
U could make a mini usb gamer stick pc with the right adapter and case
This is the best setup I've seen so far. Kudo Sir!
It's the RAM seen people running spiderman on vega 8 900p fsr set to performance and its running good @30fps
Will you review Minisforum nucx i4/i7 ?
75% bottleneck on 3060. Wow!! Still amazing test! Loved it.
would be way cooler if the panda would mount on the back.. hell, you could use a bigger GPU considering the size of that adapter.
Wonder how it'd run with that new 4060 LP?
Even better with that ryzen SBC.
Would have appreciated the frame times graph, it looks a bit micro-stuttery.
Nice.
Hey there question I know this isn't game related but can you see if the setup u have runs blender, and unreal engine.
HEY! Eta prime, I just wanna ask if you could try out call of duty: warzone with that gpu, because right now i running the lattepanda delta 432, 4gb ram, and i dont have an egpu (to suppirt the vram needed) and im thinking about buying a gtx 1650 and the delta 3 and i wanna know if its worth it for warzone (my parents wont allow me to have a full blown pc so idk, but I hope you see this, but other than tthat Have a great day!!) to see if I can play the game on there. Thanks.
perhaps it could perform better with the Morefine M6 or the refreshed Mele Quieter3C.. both have m.2 slots...
The lattepanda needs an AMD version with rdna2
Yes, I really hope we see a board like this with RDNA2
What about if someone designed a clone of the lp series that would be cool also with amd cpus it would be cool
Yeah baby. Exactly.
try the other m.2 slot, one may be x1 and the other x2 or x3.
They really need to make this at least dual channel
where can i buy a tiny GPU like the one shown?
yeah, x2 is just as unusual as x6. most of the time only x1, x4, x8, or x16 works.
For Windows 11 you best set the swap file to 4GB.
I was wondering if Nvidia Cuda would help out the poor cpu performance.
More than likely Spiderman and other games are suffering from the pcie bottleneck, rather than CPU or RAM.
Thanks bro really saved my wallets arse
that thing looks awspoe.prerty sweet...
would love to see SteamOS on this little machine
Imagine if someone made such device with an old iPhone chip! It would be very interesting tbh! 😂 😆
Nanomachines, Son!
Can i use gtx 1050 2gb instead gtx 1650 with the same method and adapter? Pls reply plsss
Waiting for Mini USB PC
I think you might get better gaming performance using steam OS. Would be worth a try
At the very least, fun stuff. BTUp
So would it be better just to get a latte panda 2 because it seems like it ran better
Ok i NEED to get one of these and plug my RTX A2000 into it 😂
do you think this would play COD? or Project Zomboid? without an egpu?
also how do you think Photoshop or photo editors would function?
taki said you mess with children
I would think that the severely limited bus of 1x would be biggest detriment to performance.
Hello! What model is your keyboard?
I'd like to rig something similar
Hello,
Can we use intel arc a380 with it?
make review for the prepaid samsung galaxy A03s
I want to turn this into a laptop
