    AMAZING explanation

This is 'grip', which has more impact by the hardening of a tightened fist. Torque is 'twist', which, together with 'grip', imparts ultimate force by a rotation of the arm delivering the punch.

I think the pop also comes from not trying to throw to hard, keeping your body as loose and relaxed as possible through the whole morning, and squeezing your hand into a first a millisecond before impact.

Great coaching, great lessons and the only thing I really have to say is perhaps you could use a little bit better of an analogy with physics.
It's not the torque. Basically what you're doing is you create vibration. Any vibration is a loss of energy. That's why titanium hammers hit so much harder than steel hammers or rubber hammers. Because the vibration is the loss of the energy. If you keep your hand coiled up extremely tight, the power goes right from your feet into your arm right into their body with no vibration letting loose in your hands. You don't want any shake on impact.
But I only can see that because of your coaching. Just a different analogy for your same exact thing that you're saying. But just slightly more accurate

Train the heavy bag without gloves on, you will learn. Start easy.

Yeah sometimes I make a fist and shove it into the glove bypassing the thumb but it has to be a slightly bigger glove Everlast used to make a glove without the thumb for this reason 👍🏽great trainer explaining the sweet science❤️🙏🏽✊🏽

Thanks. Now can you explain what you gained from doing it that way? I would love to know

@@sweetscienceboxingclub it’s kept me from fucking up my thumbs worse than they already are from jamming them when I throw uppercuts which if you have ever boxed you would know about👍🏽ya dig brah

@@thebluecollarbadass9945 yep that’s why I don’t wear Reyes gloves. I’ll take a jab thumb then an irritated thumb nail tip any day.. but that’s gotta be a 18oz or 20oz globe to fit a whole hand in. But hey it’s all about what works for you 👍👍👍

Try to crush a soda can without bending the sides. It's sturdy, but bend it and the same force will bend it.
The wrist is that same weak spot in your arm, and tensing it keeps it rigid.
One one hand you want to stay loose to contract muscles easily to generate power, but on impact you don't want to be a wet noodle. You want to maintain integrity in your arm so it can transfer all the weight going forward.
Forearm training is pretty simple. Just do heavy lat pulldowns and get a massive pump in them. That will build resistance to fatigue.
Also, I'd caution against using sound as an indicator. If you punch the bag hard it will push back and you'll feel it.

Go shoot your own instructional videos. Nothing more annoying than to have someone come on to your work and post their on dissertation of how something should be done 👎. If you want to be a professor then go start your own school 😁. Otherwise sit on the row and try to learn because if you already know everything why are you in class ?
