You are a miracle worker for lawns and gardens! I have some stressed turf, no irrigation, but not fungus! I did the preventative treatment, and mow high. I must admit, we've had a rainy year so far. Last week was temps in the high 80's and low 90's. Today humid as heck! Storms predicted, but nothing yet, I'm sure we'll get some of Gods super juice! Aka RAIN! Good vijeo Pete!
Very educational Pete. Love how you talk your way through everything. I’ve been using headway g this season, but had to do it curatively because the fungus snuck up on me quicker than I could get down a preventative. Cleared up, started looking good, and got leaf spot or melting out the second time. Applied again. I have fescue, which is struggling in these upper 90s, so I really don’t want to apply anything to it right now, been a month since last application so I’m due. What do you think I should do
If those Green County products sit for too long, just shaking them doesn't get the goodness on the bottom mixed up well. I usually empty the entire 2.5 gallon jug into a five gallon bucket and use my drill and mixing bit to mix it up and then pour it back into the jug.
Great video Pete. I’ve got pythium in my lawn in Connecticut. Heritage G is going down today. Thinking of spraying eagle too (LCN suggestion). Fungicides are new to me but now I know a little more fungus is not. I’ve had it in reeking havoc in my lawn every year😒
Hey there just a suggestion, I have gotten pythium before and I use a fungicide called mefanoxam for that. I'll apply that and azoxy together in the first app, then a week later just mef. Then in 3 weeks azoxy and alternate from there. Put the pythium stopped progressing within a 2 days for me.
Hey Mr. Pete I hope your able to answer a question or 2 for me. I have your tttf growing in a predominately shaded area(5 hours of direct sun in the am), I am applying fungicides and interchanging them but I have a ghost printing problem and it's hard to prevent disease I believe because of the moisture retention. 1. Have you ever had to cut shorter, 3 in. Or so in order to encourage airflow to help dry out the turf?/what are my options to resolve ghost printing? I cut at 4 in now. My yard is dense like yours. 2. If you do get brown patch during regular apps, if you jump in with a double of azoxy and propiconazole in one app say 2 weeks after your scheduled app(because you noticed disease) would I be over applying? Thanks so much for your help!
spierotti14 if it’s in heavy shade like that I’d say yes you can mow shorter to help with air flow. May want to throw a different fungicide at it as well. If you’re watering g that area maybe back off the water some. Hope this helps bud.
@@GCITurf I am using alternating between azoxy, propiconazole, and mefanoxam . Are you suggesting a different chemical or are you suggesting a different brand of the same chemicals? Yes sir it helps greatly, our yard looks awesome, thanks for the content and product. I have a few more questions, I would really love to hear what you have to say. Would it be ok to ask more questions in the comment section or is there another way to connect with you?
I used quinclorac last year on crabgrass. I seeded, used Milo, starter fertilizer and kept watering. This year nothing has grown so I cleaned out the areas and reapplied. This year I used Milo and carbon X with rgs,humic,air8 and micro Greene. The crabgrass areas are along a sidewalk. Could the heat coming off the concrete keep it from growing?
Hey Pete how critical is it to wash my blades after every cut until the red thread is gone? Is bagging the clippings enough? I always wash it off but to detail it 3x per week gets timely.
Man! I love your video’s and for the past 3 years have really got into turf for our backyard. My lines are on point! I live in Washington and have Ryegrass that I keep around 3” tall, I do a regular nitrogen rich fertilizer and a healthy amount of watering. But every year about the end of June I have a weird patch that is a long shape that looks oily/wet and a dark muddy green color, then it starts to thin and die on me. It stops a few weeks later and I spot treat it with new seed and peat moss, wait for it to grow in and mow it like everything’s else. Any idea what it is or what I’m doing wrong?
Crazy, when I passed through Ohio I got pulled over 3 times and had my truck ransacked for absolute NO REASON. Maybe it was the California license plates🤣
*_I'm not trying to be a smart-aleck but, your setting is gonna depend on square footage of the area you're applying to. Example: 2 different-sized areas on 1 setting will have more concentrated product on the smaller area._*
If you took the guess work out of it and just sold a broad spectrum formula in a ready to use 32oz spray attachment bottle like something bayer sells at Home Depot. I think many would be interested. I know I would be! Ps I’m from Ohio but live in N.C. now. Seen that logo many times in my rear view mirror 😬
Bayer bioadvanced is propiconazole. It works great, both liquid spray ready to spray, and it comes in granular. Disease Ex is from Scotts, and is granular azyoxistrobin. Also works great.
The only Nimblewill weed product is called Tenacity. Pete recommended it and it worked great. Apply one application each time, two weeks apart for 2 weeks.
I am guessing you cut your neighbors back yard to your left? Their front yard is atrocious with 0 lines. And then magically the back yard has lines with nice grass. Is that all you?
Thanks to you, Pete, I have no brown patch! I got my fungus right!
Thank you Pete i know your a busy person and you try to help all of us thanks for patients
Pete thanks for respecting law enforcement .

After you applied this application, do you water it in? if so, how soon and for how long?

Awesome video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. 👍🏻
Pete and his neighbor yard looks great
The N-Ext guys actually recommend using AIR-8 to help the fungicide get down into the roots. Zoom in so we can see what you're doing Pete.
I'm in Winston Salem NC. Have some yellowing in some areas in my yard. Is this from all the rain we've been getting. Fungus maybe
Pete, can you please post a link for the pH reader you use???

Love these videos Pete. Keep em coming 👍

Pete I ordered 80lbs of 10-10-10 to help my soil. Can you tell me at what rate I should apply it??

Very informative! I JUST noticed a brown patch in my lawn yesterday. (The phrase is ”subject to error.” I say it often... because I am! 😃)
Hey Pete, you are gonna have to put one one of your new inventory tags on your stirring bit! 😀
Man with thousands in lawn equipment can’t find his $5 bit. Ironic.
Kevr true this
Minnesota Grass Geek agreed. LOL
Fantastic info as usual Pete.
I have brown patches in part of my Bermuda lawn. North east Mississippi here. Nice shed!

Learned a lot from this video
Pete, can I add the natural adjuvant to a ready to spray fungicide like a bayer bio advance?
Love your videos always great content
Tonya Williams I see no reason why you couldn’t as long as you adjust the ph to a 5 or below before you add the adjuvant
Which of the n-ext products can I use on plants?
I’ve had issues where armada powder settles and clogs my sprayer inlet. Do I just need to stop and shake the canister, and how often. ?
Kevr mine does not settle like that. I spray it out fast enough to where it doesn’t
How come you never bag the grass when you get them and how often you cut them plz if you can answer
Farid Khe when I get what? And how often when I cut what? Your question is confusing
Crazy, when I passed through Ohio I got pulled over 3 times and had my truck ransacked for absolute NO REASON. Maybe it was the California license plates🤣
Pete can you please tell me the spreader setting for a lesco spreader for carbon x you use

that bug at 4:25 gave me a minor scare! lol.

I slacked knowing the upcoming humidity, just seeing brown patch on leaves, should have prevented it. Throwing some disease ex on today.
"Ohio, the heart of it all"
Need help, how to kill nimblewill weed out from Bermuda grass?
The only Nimblewill weed product is called Tenacity. Pete recommended it and it worked great. Apply one application each time, two weeks apart for 2 weeks.
My yard has no brown patch as well
If you were OSHP, I would love to hear you say, “getyourspeedright.”🤣
More of a Fan of KBG ;) Love that color it's untouchable
Screw that
With adjuvant why not run the fungicide at a lower rate? Could the adjuvant make your mix too potent at max label rate?... Awesome video Pete!
Midnight Monoculture not too potent. Just more potent
I thought Fertilization was a no no with some fungus
RVA Lawn Love Myth. I been feeding turf for years EVERY time we do a fungicide app to hundreds of clients lawns including my own.
Academy program!!
Pete next time your in Ohio hit me up
Ohio. The state that's Hi in the middle and round on both ends.
That was a lot of great info
Ten people can keep their dislikes to themselves.

Btw, neighbor turf looking niocce👍
I am guessing you cut your neighbors back yard to your left? Their front yard is atrocious with 0 lines. And then magically the back yard has lines with nice grass. Is that all you?
I though he was renovating their back yard, but not the front yard. I dont think it has to do with the mowing
yes sir...I told my neighbor I would manage her entire back yard for her...thats why it looks so different...she mows the front herself
