All the creator did was build a plywood/fiberglass shell and slapped solar panels on it, then threw it on a basic truck with homemade fenders, didn't upgrade it properly for even basic offroading. It isn't worth the million dollars he wants for it at all.
Its absolutely worthless. Thing was an underpowered piece of shit that could barely go up hill, wants to constantly tip over and breaks the first time you actually try to use it. Massive scam .
12:30 ish, when Matt's wrecker broke, Matt took that so well, but also his reaction to it breaking and taking off was perfect. He stayed calm, you could see him looking at, well, everything going on, and acted on it instantly. That could have went soooooo much worse but Matt saved it perfectly. Gotta give the guy credit. Matt Wetzel is a very smart man
The clip with the Wrecker is my favorite. That thing has a gigantic V8, weighs 12,000lbs, and went full throttle uncontrolled in a confined space with people nearby and a vehicle in front. It's absolutely the save of the year. I'd have soiled myself at the wheel of that thing, you guys were intensely cool about how bad that could've been.

This video just shows the downsides of video deadlines. It throws build quality out the window when they gotta get a video out on time. Still great videos but obviously some of these could have been avoided. And yes i know some of those cars were actual accidents i just mean most of the high low cars

I hope we get to see a hi-low mini truck build. I'm talking about turning an older compact pickup truck into a custom low riding, cool, and radical mini truck. Bonus points if it can be turned into an old school style one from the late 80s/early 90s. Doesn't have to use NOS parts from back then, but like a tribute type build.

The only 5 cilinder car we got in Brazil afair is the Fiat Marea Turbo, which was notorious for being a great sounding car and for blowing up engines if you push it hard enough...
its like a 14 hour day to bring 2 vehicles and 4 people out. Its 5 hours to just drive from the shop to the broken vehicle. It seems like a very reasonable charge.

Matt's wrecker was super prototype at that point and had lots of other problems that showed them selves later. I wouldn't be mad about it. It's pretty good now.
James unironically probably saved the lives of Matt and/or his family by discovering a dangerous design flaw in the Wrecker and successfully defusing it without hurting anyone. Yes, it was all dumb luck, but it was James' luck.
Imagine if they made modular electrics in manual. Where everything is self servicible and numbered, and it comes with a diagnostic app that shows which parts are where in real time with an app and car diagram. Its crazy to see how SLOW tech is being rolled out to consumers when we all know it can be so much better
I really wish you went into a lil more detail on each story. To get a better feel for how and why each thing happened. examples... how does one overheat a power steering system (on two different cars), how did you pop a coolant line on a three wheeled car when it only rocked 20 degrees. and don't forget... HTF is it easier to buy, ship, and clear a whole new completely foreign mini truck, than it is to trouble shoot 8 severed wires??? I understand i can just go watch the videos (and i will), but it would be nice to have the full context of the stories. Yes, it would make the video a lil bit longer, but im sure that 80% of the people watching would also appreciate, if not endure, the couple extra minutes that it would take of their time.
